We had an excellent stay at the Radisson. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The hotel facilities were great with a gym and lovely pool - perfect for cooling off at the end of the day.
I would also add, that there are some fantastic places to eat, just a short walk away from the hotel.
The area is very safe and we just had to get used to crossing the roads.
From the reception to the restaurant, fantastic atmosphere, our go to place the staff go above and beyond to make our stay pleasant, from Mr Hany, Mr Amardeep, Ms Heba the list goes on thank you for everything you are the best

Great Hotel, Great service, Amazing food. The hotel is centrally located, making it convenient to move around the city, and the atmosphere feels calm and welcoming. The food especially the breakfast very good quality with a nice variety, and the staff were professional, friendly, and attentive throughout the stay, making it a reliable and enjoyable choice for both business and leisure travelers.
It’s great hotel to visit different outlets with more options staff friendly food delicious overall I’m happy to stay at Radisson
The property is conveniently located located with high ambience pool and pool side restaurant. Nice front office staff. Restaurant staff were also very nice and helpful especially Mr Sahadat Hussain. Wish to revisit.
Anna was an amazing waiter at the pub. She was friendly, attentive, and made sure we were comfortable the whole time. Our drinks and food came quickly, and she kept checking in without being intrusive. Her positive attitude really made the experience better. Definitely one of the reasons I’d come back again. 👌
Hamdi the it's the best for the service it's very friendly and I appreciate for the service it's very very good tha thanks hamdi for you service
We choose this hotel because of relatively central location, availability of accomodation for 3, large pool area and reasonable price / quality balance.
Hotel located itself in commercial and living appartments neighbourhood, in a bit isolated island between highway descant ramp and large circle crossing. As Muscat is not pedastrian friendly, to access any area nearby you need to run over 2 + 2 lines road, which might be busy sometimes ( no marked crossing or traffic light at all ). From Muscat airport by official airport taxi to hotel 8,5 OMR, back by Otaxi - 2,75 OMT. Trip takes 15-20 minutes depending on traffic. To Mutrah by Otaxi - 20 minutes, around 3 OMR. Large shopping malls ( Oman avenue mall, Mall of Oman ) within 10 minutes ride, around 1,2 OMR. As Otaxi app is restricted by better range hotels, you need manually mark pick-up point on map 100m out of hotel entrance.
Hotel is somehow of "old good style" hype and nowdays technically and business way outdated, though performing his function well. It suppose to be business style hotel, so no any tourist services there.
Rooms are functioning, a bit smaller compare to other hotels we stay in Oman.
We liked pool very much - seems to be heated, of good size and clean. There are appr. 25 sun loungers around pool.
Pool bar sell international beers for 4-5 OMR per can/pint. During happy hour you can get 2+1, so 8 OMR for 3 beers seems good deal.
The biggest dissapoitment - breakfast. Limited in variety and quality, though pastry selection was good.
Overall reasonable hotel for Muscat exploration. Pool and good price/quality balance gives a score of 4, otherwise would be 3. Would recommend if tick your boxes and good deal obtained.
Great service at lazy lizard bar all staff doing great job atmosphere around swimming pool at the evening wow with amazing oud player
The hotel stuff is outstanding, very helpful and pays a lot attention to details.
They helped me getting a driver to do a sightseeing tour in Muskat. Mr Sulaiman Al Nabhani was the best guide you and driver you could ask for. Besides showing me some of the most interesting parts of Muskat he answered all my curious questions with much patience.
It was my first time in Muskat and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Thank you to Radisson Blu and Mr. Sulaiman Al Nabhani.
Mr Shahadat Hossein at the restaurant is great waiter! Otherwise, it's a nice hotel and located in a very accessible spot.
Be aware that this hotel has a nightclub on the ground floor that plays deafening techno music all night until at least 3am. You can hear it even on the upper floors but on the lower floors it is loud enough to shake the room. Management is well aware - they apologise but seem to have no interest in fixing the problem. I was told the hotel owns the club so they could sort it out but choose not to. Several people were complaining as well as me. Shame as otherwise this could be a lovely hotel but what’s the point in staying here if you can’t sleep? I’d never return.
Mixed experience during Christmas period:
We stayed at Radisson Blu Hotel, Muscat during the Christmas period (around December 25), and overall our experience was mixed.
First, the positive aspects:
The hotel staff are generally polite and helpful, and both the rooms and common areas are clean, neat, and well maintained. In terms of cleanliness and basic comfort, the hotel meets expectations.
However, several things were disappointing!
The pool area was a major letdown. Sunbeds were removed very early in the day, it was only possible to sunbathe by the pool for a very short time. Large parts of the pool area were reserved for the Christmas Day brunch, which meant hotel guests could not use the facilities freely.
We were also told that the club connected to the hotel was free for hotel guests. Unfortunately, when we tried to enter, we were stopped by staff and told we had to pay because it was an “international club night.” Since it was the Christmas period, this was quite surprising and disappointing.
Overall, it felt like during the Christmas season the hotel prioritized extra profit over guest comfort, limiting access to facilities that guests normally expect to be included.
My advice:
If you are planning to stay around Christmas, I would reconsider this hotel. While the cleanliness and staff are good, the restrictions and extra charges during this period significantly reduce the value of the stay.
