Pros:

Petit dejeuner normale sans plus un gros pavé de beurre pas de confiture individuelle un choix limité pour le pain. Des crêpes qui sentent la levure. Les employeesfaisaient trop de bruits en débarrassant alors qu on était a table personnel maussade triste mal habillé

Cons:

L ensemble de l hotel doit etre rénové 30cm entre lit et mur 30cm de passage la peinture a vu bq de personne s y frotter

Pretty hotel, well located at a good price and professional staff.
Pros:

The Mercure hotel is excellently located, in a beautiful neighborhood (La Presqu'île), close to fabulous restaurants, bars, The Saône (for river sightseeing and watching La Croix Rousse and La Fourvière), and in the middle of a great shopping district. Our hotel room was big enough for the one night we stayed and the staff was very good. On arrival they asked us if we preferred to be on a higher or lower floor, we said higher. We were on the 4th floor with the views over the Jacobins statue. We also asked if we could have some milk for teas in our room and they gave us a big jug, which was lovely. The mattress wasn't very firm but again for one night, it was fine. I'd go again. Price was great.

Cons:

Maybe only the mattress and maybe providing milk in capsules would be good for British as the powdered milk isn't nice but providing us with a free jug of milk was nice. Over than that, nothing else.

Pros:

La situation très centrale dans la presqu'île est un atout très important tout comme le parking public à proximité immédiate. L'hôtel est confortable mais manque de charme. Notre chambre sur cour était calme en étage élevé. Le personnel est très agréable.

Cons:

L'hôtel a un caractère impersonnel certainement lié à son appartenance à une chaine même si des efforts de personnalisation sont fait.

Beautifully located hotel in downtown Lyon
Pros:

We visited at the beginning of July when it was hot in Lyon and appreciated the air conditioning. We had plenty of room and although the building was older, the condition of the room was very good, the bed was very comfortable, and it was quiet.

The location was excellent. We were able to walk everywhere in Presqu'ile as well as both river banks. I would definitely go back.
