Disappointing stay due to incorrect room allocation, booking errors, and poor customer service with an unresolved refund
Pros:

I booked and paid for one family room (25 sqm) with two beds and one standard room (16 sqm) with a single bed. However, upon arrival, the hotel failed to provide the family room I had reserved and paid for. Instead, I was given two standard rooms (16 sqm each), one with twin beds and the other with a single bed. This is not equivalent to the accommodation I purchased, as the family room was larger and more expensive.

In addition, while making the reservation, Booking.com displayed an error when I attempted to book one of the standard rooms. Despite the error, the payment was still processed. I later discovered that three rooms had been booked instead of the two I intended to reserve.

I immediately informed both the hotel and Booking.com that the third room was the result of a booking system error and requested its cancellation and a full refund. Despite my repeated follow-ups, I have received no resolution or meaningful update.

I expect Booking.com to take responsibility for this issue and process a full refund for the unintended third room without further delay. I also request appropriate compensation or reimbursement for the hotel’s failure to provide the family room that I booked and paid for. I paid for a specific room type and did not receive the service promised.

If this matter is not resolved promptly, I will have no option but to escalate my complaint through the appropriate consumer protection authorities, my payment card issuer, and other relevant dispute resolution channels.

I request a written response confirming the refund and the steps being taken to resolve this matter within the next seven days.

Cons:

The hotel did not provide the family room I booked and paid for. Instead, I was given two smaller standard rooms. Additionally, a Booking.com system error resulted in an extra room being booked and charged, and despite repeated requests, my refund has still not been processed.

Cons:

Everything went well when we arrived, but when we return to Zurich the room that was assigned to us our air conditioning was making a very load noise and it took them 4 hours to change us to another room. That was not acceptable, we should have been move soon.
