Overall a good experience with a couple of easily remedied negatives.
Pros:

Room was good for the price we paid and had all the usual facilities you would expect in a building with a little bit of history.
Very pleasant and helpful staff throughout. Meals were good with good portion size and excellent service at Dinner.
Great location and base to visit local attractions. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Cons:

A small thing, the grout in the shower needed renewing and some spotlights in the room appeared loose.
Breakfast itself was good, however service was a little chaotic, basically not enough staff and buffet system a bit cramped, perhaps an order at the table system would work better? The staff were doing their best but obviously struggling to keep up with demand (some patrons appeared to be more demanding than others :) )
The only real issue we had was with the parking arrangements, pretty tight spaces and not enough. We did notice that it wasn't only residents that were parking there which didn't help.

Lovely hotel in a nice location
Pros:

The hotel staff were very polite and friendly. Linda who served us every morning at breakfast was lovely, which complimented the nice breakfast. The hotel itself was clean and tidy and in a nice waterfront location, within easy reach (walk or short drive) to some nice places to visit.

Cons:

The coffee shop didn't seem to open for very long during the day so was unable to experience the nice looking cakes that we could see on our way out after breakfast, when returning early afternoon. We could get hot drinks from the bar though.
The car park hasn't enough spaces for the number of rooms, which is fine out of season as we could find alternative places to park, but not sure what it would be like in the summer.

Pros:

the staff were very friendly and happy to help. Linda, who dealt with breakfast, was lovely and very attentive. The location is perfect, as the castle is just at the end of the road. The windows made a lot of noise at night due to the wind, but when I brought this issue up in the morning, it was dealt with straight away while I had my breakfast.

Cons:

It is a lovely hotel to stay at and the food was lovely, but I suppose there could have been more lighter options.

Amazing experience, would definitely book again!
Pros:

Amazing very accommodating staff. Seafront location right next to Beaumaris Castle. Room is big with complete amenities. Car park is also sizeable and free! Delicious breakfast. Also very dog friendly!

Cons:

We were not able to figure out how to turn off the heating in our room, so it was a bit warmer than we would have liked.
