5mins walk to the main town centre. Very easy.

The headboard was a bit noisy 🫠🙃
So, had to be careful for neighbouring rooms.
Fan was in yhe wardrobe, and didnt find it until the next day unfortunately and needed it in the heatwave.
Entrance to the car park was very narrow and the car park was very tight. We were lucky to have room to turn around the car at the back, but otherwise we would have struggled to get out.

Wij verbleven in aan aangepaste kamer die prima was. Voor het ontbijt konden we in het pub gedeelte eten. Het deel waar het ontbijt was had een drempel van 30 cm. Geen oprijplaat beschikbaar. Ontbijt vonden wij niet echt super. En het bar gedeelte niet super gezellig ingericht. Dit in verhouding met de prijs die je per na het betaald.
Drempel bij ontbijtzaal van 30 cm zonder oprijplaat. Kleine moeite om deze aan te schaffen.
Schönes Gebäude. Wir hatten ein Upgrade und somit ein großes, geschmackvoll eingerichtetes Zimmer. Parkmöglichkeit im Hof (muss reserviert werden und kostet 15 Pfund pro Tag). Freundliches Personal, leckeres Frühstück, gute Lage. In 10 Minuten ist man am Castle.
Extra Kosten für den Parkplatz. Info: Die Hofeinfahrt ist sehr schmal, wenn man ein größeres Auto hat, könnte es eng werden. Sehr enge und steile Treppen im Haupthaus. Hoher Preis (für unser Upgrade war der Preis okay, für ein normales Zimmer wäre es zu teuer gewesen). Das Zimmer ging zur Straße und es war sehr laut trotz geschlossener Fenster. Außerdem liegt Windsor in der Einflugschneise.

Buona posizione per visitare il castello di Windsor. Camera spaziosa e letto comodo.
Bagno di buone dimensioni e ottima doccia. Purtroppo faceva molto caldo, l'hotel non ha aria condizionata e se, come noi, avete una camera sottotetto, anche se la sera fuori è fresco, in camera la temperatura è alta. Serve il ventilatore, che viene fornito, ma se si soffre il caldo può essere un problema.
La colazione me la aspettavo più di livello. Avevo letto buone recensioni e forse avevo aspettative troppo alte. Nella media. Rapporto qualità prezzo così così.
Die Lage in Windsornähe und die Parkmöglichkeit (wenn auch sehr eng) waren positiv. Auch das sehr freundliche Personal ist positiv zu vermerken. Frühstücksraum ist schön hell.
Das Zimmer im Nebengebäude war nicht sonderlich sauber. Autos und Personen direkt vorm Bett. Dunkel, alt, ungemütlich. Fast unglaublich, dass dies das teuerste Hotel auf der unserer Südenglandreise war. Man bezahlt hier nur für die Nähe zu Windsor. An anderen Orten wäre selbst der halbe Preis nicht gerechtfertigt gewesen.

Location in quieter Eton just across Windsor Bridge; friendly staff and very helpful; rooms cleaned well by staff; parking on site if booked in advance. Fabulous English breakfast with local produce(sometimes took a while to come but worth the wait) would recommend hotel to others
Nothing to dislike would return.
Things to note. Easiest way to approach the entrance is from road opposite to negotiate a tight space but a Landrover discovery fitted without problem.
No aircon but fans provided and opening windows in our premium room.
A mini fridge would have been a bonus but water was given daily by housekeeping staff.
