Vile place
Pros:

Location to the open air theatre was very good

Cons:

Toilet did not flush, notified reception and they said would fix it, cant change rooms as fully booked they didn't fix it so had to ise the toilet without no flush, absolutely disgusting.
The shower was vile, the cord had thick black mould allover it, clearly not been.cleaned for weeks. It is the worst place I've stayed, vile place do not go!

Clean great location a bit dated
Pros:

Can’t knock the place for location. A little bit dated but clean and was all I needed for a one night stay after watching a gig at the open air theatre

The location perfect for where we needed to get to, for one night stay.

Cons:

Room very dusty, didnt want to shower we was only booked in for 0ne night, but the whole hotel could do with a big deep clean. Bed was clean, and smelt fresh, provided tea, coffee and a fresh pint of milk, lady on reception was lovely. After reading comments on trip advisor, wasn't really looking forward to our stay, but was pleasantly surprised.

Pros:

On arrival, we had to call the ring door bell inside. The staff member (sorry didn't catch his name) came down straight away and was very helpful! No issues there

Cons:

The hotel was very very dated. Absolutely nothing like the photos advertised. It was very dirty too.

Somewhere to put our heads down.
Pros:

The checking in was better on this occasion, somebody present. He then helped us with the TV reception.

A very basic hotel which is reflective of price
Pros:

Was attending a concert at open air theatre and this hotel was walking distance to that.
Nice clean (professionally laundered) bed linen
Staff friendly and helpful
Cheap

Cons:

Property hasn’t had any money spent on it for many years and needs a serious cash injection to bring up to a reasonable standard. Decor and fittings very old.
Multiple light bulbs not working in room making it dark.
Curtains only had a few hooks holding them up

Clean bathroom

Cons:

Decor is dreadful, stains on carpet,.needs.fully refurbished, locks didn't feel secure hanging off. Street parking 2hrly during day. need to keep moving car. But free parking after 6pm -9pm.
