Waiting 20 minutes for someone to show up at hotel no staff there , wasn't polite felt like he was interested never greeted us won't be going back

My awful room in Scarborough
Pros:

Cons:

Didn't see any staff it was all done by phone. The room was terrible carpets were stained it was cold the curtains didn't cover the whole window had to put the kettle on the floor because the electric lead didn't reach the table.

Disgusting

There was absolutely nothing I could say nice about this property from the moment I turned up

Cons:

The property cannot be classed as a hotel for a start !
Shabby interior and exterior wasn’t that good either , nothing like the pictures .
We were shown to our room only to encounter a very unpleasant smell and to find urine leaking from the ceiling from the room above ,this looked like it had been leaking for at least several hours if not days , after reporting it to the manager/owner he allocated us another room and on inspection we found it to be very dirty in several places , we couldn’t possibly stay there it was vile , we asked for a refund ( which we didn’t get ) even contacted booking.com but there was no joy there either , we decided to cut our losses and walk out
Would never go there again , I’ve seen the homeless with better accommodation!

Great value for money
Pros:

Ahmed was a wonderful host, great communication and quick responses and helped whenever I needed anything. This was my third or fourth time staying here and can’t complain. Rooms were warm, clean and comfy beds. Showers worked fine, amenities given. Yes rooms do have bit of an outdated look however didn’t bother me as still clean and comfortable stay. Location also great very central and close to everything.

Having to ring a rude man in London to get the code for the key we never got told this when booking we were stood like lemons for ages no staff at all .rooms were dated shower could have done with a clean
