Beautiful Hotel, lovely friendly & helpful staff, great breakfast, great rooms & lovely pool. Location fab, half hour walk to metro & great pubs & restaurants close by. Will definitely return some day

Love new renovated reception area and rooms within much brighter than the last time we stayed. Service is excellent, all staff are friendly and helpful, very prompt in attending to us. Special mentioned to Carlos who was so kind and helped us with our room upgrade to a beautiful and comfortable suite so we can have a restful sleep.

Hotel was great, staff amazing. Nikki at the front desk was super helpful, giving us great advice on where to go and general amazing service.

Stayed here during our first trip to Los Angeles and honestly it ended up being one of the best decisions of the trip.

The location is excellent if you want to stay around West Hollywood. The area felt clean, safe to walk around at night, and there are tons of food options nearby. Getting around was also super easy with Uber and Waymo.

One thing to keep in mind is that the hotel has access from both the front and the back. Sometimes Uber/Waymo drivers will drop you off behind the hotel instead of the main entrance, but if you already checked in, you can use your room key to access the back entrance and just go up the stairs.

The rooms seem to have been recently renovated and look much newer than some of the older photos online. Ours had the newer white-and-blue style room and it honestly looked great. Very spacious room, extremely comfortable bed, lots of pillows, mini fridge, microwave, sink area, and even a small table/lounge area to eat or relax.

The bathroom was also surprisingly large with very good lighting.

One thing that really stood out to us was how quiet the room was. Even though the hotel is on a busy street, once inside the room you could barely hear anything outside. Interestingly, you can hear some noise while walking through the hallways, but once you’re inside the room it becomes extremely quiet, even in the bathroom. The soundproofing inside the rooms was honestly impressive.

The only weak point for us was the breakfast, but considering the price point and that it’s complimentary, it’s understandable. It’s very similar to the typical breakfast you’d find at chain hotels like Fairfield Inn — mostly prepackaged items and basic hot food options. During our stay there were only a couple hot items available along with waffles, oatmeal, toast, yogurt, juice, etc. Also, the breakfast area gets crowded pretty quickly and most tables are larger group tables, so smaller tables for couples would probably improve the space a lot.

Overall though, I would absolutely stay here again. For the location, renovated rooms, comfort, and quietness, it ended up exceeding our expectations.

My granddaughter and I spent 5 days at the Best Western sunset plaza we absolutely loved every minute of it this staff was fabulous our room was great the pool was exceptionally enjoyable
