Quiet stay in LA
Pros:

Clean, spacious, quiet, newly renovated. Allowed an early check in to help us out after a long flight. Staff were all lovely

Do it yourself hotel...
Pros:

Spacious room, excellent location

Cons:

When I entered the room (late) I found out that there was blockage in the toilet. The person from the hotel came and handed towards me a plunger. I couldn't believe it - he actually asked me to fix it.
I said that I'm shocked that he did, and eventually they have new another room after I demanded it.

Cons:

Recepcionistas mal educados. Limparam quarto e não repuseram as toalhas. Estava em obra, não avisaram quando da reserva, bateção das 8:30 às 17:30.

Great location- very clean
Pros:

Great location, friendly staff, very clean. There were some renovations happening but other than that this was an exceptional value for cost.

Cons:

Parts are a little dated like doors that have been panted many times and the elevator was kinda old- but overall it was a great experience

H-O-R-R-I-B-L-E even though it was just 1 night.

Non-existent view: there was a wall completely blocking both windows, making the room feel more like a prison cell than a proper accommodation. Stuffy, damp, and stale air, with a clear mold smell. The shower door banged straight into the showerhead every time it was opened. None of this was shown in the photos or mentioned in the room description — there was no indication of this concrete wall practically glued to the windows.
The staff's service was TERRIBLE, with an especially strong negative highlight for the reception employee named ANGEL: negligent, rushed, irritable, and visibly with zero willingness to do his job. And we didn’t even make any special or unusual request — it was just a standard check-in.
To make it worse: when we asked about the possibility of changing rooms (since the windows were completely sealed off by a wall right up against them), he didn’t even bother to check the system to see if anything else was available. He replied with sarcasm and complete impatience. Worth noting that, even though it was only a one-night stay (just passing through), we were fully willing to pay any price difference for a decent, livable room.

Hotel comodo, buena atencion y ubicacion. Lindo patio con piscina.
Pros:

El personal es muy amable. La ubicacion es comoda, sobre Sunset Bvard. Linda piscina. Desayuno bueno.

Cons:

al desayuno le faltaba variedad de frutas. estaba en obra y no fuimos avisados peviamente sin embargo la cordialidad del personal compensaba cualquier inconveniente a causa de la obra.
