Hosts are always kind and great accommodate. Room was fine with plenty towels.
Carpets are pretty bad but looked like they were in process of updating those. Really miss the Solver Dollar City Shuttle as the main reason we stay. Disappointed to find out it was not provided during our stay after Christmas to visit SDC.
Nothing. We had a horrible experience. Starting from the moment we checked in, but we could book elsewhere because of the season.
Our room was dirty. The hotel itself was dirty. Halls and elevator included. We had four rooms booked and there were issues with all of them. Two rooms had roaches and were dirty. One room had issues with the air conditioning. Had to change rooms and ended up being put away from our family. The third room had issues with the tub not holding water and mold aroubd the tub. All if the rooms were filthy. One of the rooms had a hairbrush on the floor from previous guests. We had dirty socks left in the corner from previous guests. There is no shuttle to Silver Dollar City as was posted on their website. No gameroom for the kids. It is now a lounge for adults. The hot tub was also broken. Was told that they didnt expect it to be fixed. We paid more to stay at this hotel for these amenities. When I contacted the management, I was told there was nothing they were going to do about it. We did not ask for full refund, we just wanted a discount for all the issues they caused us just like they charge us for any issues we would have caused. They were not agreeable. We were very disappointed, especially since we expected more from the name Best Western. We will not stay here again. It was just a sad part of our Christmas visit.
check in - breakfast - check out
$100 deposit - toilet too low - floor a little dirty - had to move chairs to between beds to watch TV - room too small for the $$ - no body wash -
Nothing
Dirty Dark Balkon very Dirty
The room looked modern. The pillows were perfect
The TV was horribly dim like it was burnt out, and the color waswasoff., it was not a settings issue. Killed 2 cockroaches when i first checked in, but saw no more. The AC unit was on max when we checked in, but it was unable to keep the room below 76⁰ The mini fridge was barely cool, the meat and cheese tray i had wilted the cheese a little bit and the olives and chocolate sweated, it wasn't really cold enough for the wine and sodas
It was in a decent location for the activities we had planned
Older and outdated, price felt very high for the quality of room, AC ran all night to keep the room cool. No huge deal breakers just would probably do something different next time. I feel I can get more comfort in the same price point after looking around. Some of it is on us for booking later in the week and not knowing our for sure plan and this property was one of the few still available.
I. Liked that they took into consideration that I had children with and put us on the first floor. As well as near the outdoor chess board as a way to assist in keeping them entertained.
The pool area was locked and we couldn't swim. As well as seeing two cockroaches on the wall when walking to our room upon arrival.
It had a nice staff, clean beds. It is very close to Silver Dollar City. The pool was warm.
The whole thing looks like a landlord special. Nothing is really maintained well, but is just covered in a layer of paint and cheap trendy materials mixed together and poorly installed. The breakfast offered is at a "restaurant" run out of the conference room and consists of one waitress and what I can assume is one cook. The food and service weren't good and the prices were absurd. I miss the days of a simple continental breakfast and a shuttle to the park, which is also no longer an offering.
This was the worst Best Western we have ever stayed in. We went to Branson and Silver Dollar City for the Christmas experience of the lights and shows. Both of those were excellent times and well worth the money. Our son got sick one night and we had to make up his bed ourselves as there was no staff available. The hotel is not a locked facility; you don't need your key card to enter, and I felt that was rather unusual. The best thing about our stay was the shower. The heat kept coming off and on so it was a nuisance throughout the evening. The breakfast was less than desirable as it was just warm. I would recommend staying a little further out than at this Best Western.
Do NOT stay here with your children! This place is not as advertised. Lacks security. No key card to get in anywhere so pretty much open to the general public.
Pool was cold & gross.
Game room doesn’t exist! It’s now a bar with slot machines.
Free breakfast- Not free! They give you a credit towards a breakfast at a sit down restaurant in the hotel.
Overall, looks like a place out of a horror flick. Smells moldy, carpets in hallways are stained & ripped up. Table in room was broken. It’s really a shame they’ve let this place go because the location is great & very close to SDC.
Design old and outdated. Overcharged after booking online, staff couodnt resolve issues.
Spooky long hallways, long walk to elevator not situated well for ada.
Hot tub out of service, main reason we picked this hotel
One of the worst places i have stayed. Breakfast is disgusting, if you can get any service.
The bed was a lot more comfortable than I thought it was going to be. The water pressure and temperature in the shower was awesome!
Although very clean, the hotel looked very outdated.
Great locations and quiet.
Our bed was like sleeping in two holes. The mattress was broken down terribly. We have stayed there before and loved it with two queen beds but this time it was a king and it was awful.
