The manager was polite, professional, and actually helped resolve the situation I had in my room.
I was very disappointed with my stay. The biggest issue was the kiosk check-in system. I prefer speaking with a person face-to-face, and I had a very hard time understanding the kiosk representative. Even with closed captions turned on, communication was difficult and frustrating. After this experience, I will avoid hotels that use this type of system in the future.
The TV in my room did not work. I was told someone would come fix it and waited 20 minutes with no one showing up. When I checked back, I was told it would be another 5 minutes. I explained that I came on vacation to enjoy my time, not sit in my room waiting for maintenance. We left for about four hours and returned to find the TV still wasn't fixed. The kiosk representative then told me someone would repair it the next morning. At that point, I requested either a different room or a refund.
After several more minutes dealing with the kiosk representative, an in-person employee finally arrived. He was polite, professional, and actually helped resolve the situation. I appreciated his assistance and did apologize to the kiosk representative for my frustration.
Breakfast options were also very limited. There was no sausage or bacon available, which was disappointing.
Another concern was that the key card would not work on the rear entrance. Having to walk around the building to enter made me feel unsafe and seemed like a security issue.
Overall, the lack of in-person service, maintenance delays, limited breakfast selection, and access/security concerns made for a poor experience. I would not stay here again.
Hotel maids were friendly and helpful. Beds were clean and comfortable.
Room smelled like old smoke and black mold around woodwork around air conditioner. Had several issues with our door and took them a while to figure it out. Breakfast was minimal.
Nice large and well stocked room.
It was at the entrance and the door noise was annoying as well as the noisy wooden stairs that were used late at night. All would have been better if I were placed further from the entrance.

The bed frame and some towels were dirty. I also didn’t like how they charged me twice when I chose to pay at the front desk for my stay.

There is no human staff on site to a check you in and out. Very bizarre. I found a kiosk in lobby with a screen showing a guy in India who told me how to enter my information and process payment and get a plastic key programmed for my room. The image of the guy was not great, the audio was difficult, with his thick accent.

Clean room with reasonable price.
The smoke alarm went off every time I took a shower. The room has a coffee brewer but didn't have any regular coffee, just decaf. They advertise free breakfast but do not have any breakfast available with your stay. I was very disappointed about that.
We went to the property and the front desk guy was really nice. We booked through booking.com because it was $10 cheaper. When we went to our room, the smell of mold was overwhelming and the door did not even shut behind us. My husband showed me the air conditioner that was called in mold and we went into the bathroom and there was black mold on the walls. I went to the front desk and said there was mold on the walls and he said yes it’s not one of our nice rooms. we usually give people with pets those rooms.(as if that makes it ok) he said I didn’t want you to wait since it’s not check in time yet and all our rooms are not cleaned. I looked at the wall that said check in 2pm. It was 3:05. He said that sign is wrong. (Not my problem) he offered to show me another room on the other side of the hotel. It was clean but at this point, what else was going to go wrong. We went back and stayed at the Baymont by Sapp Bros which had clean rooms.
Been fighting with Booking.com and Baymont for over a week to get $111 refund because they say they sent thee info to booking.com, booking.com says it has to be in writing. And the person who has to send the info is on vacation. Mind you the name on the business card at the desk for the owner says Danny and the front desk guy had a name tag on that said “Danny”.
The room is good size room.
The ad said free WiFi service, but there no WiFi service at all. And it said free breakfast, but every morning we went to eat, there are shortage food and beverages.

Bed was TERRIBLY HIGH. I had to jump to get into it. Recliners did not remain inclined. MOLD IN BATH on ceiling. Sand in carpet.

Price and location.
Any contact with the staff was done via video screen. Made it very difficult to try to communicate with them. The first room I was put in had bed bugs and when I contacted the staff I was moved to a new room which was right next door to the bed bug room. Breakfast was shut down half an hour early in the morning. And I had a reservation for two nights but after the first night had a family emergency and had to check out early. I sent the hotel staff a message and left a voicemail and there was no offer for them to refund me for any amount of what I had paid for my remaining stay. Instead I got an email the morning I was scheduled to check out reminding me I needed to check out.
