Quite and close to where I needed to be. Bed was firm and comfortable , has small refrigerator, had good size TV however didn't watch it, air conditioner worked. Good size room and view of harbor.
No door sign for do not disturb or need maid service. Maid knocked on door around 930am, check out is at 11.
Room needs a deep cleaning, light switch covers were dirty by bathroom sink and front door. Bathroom baseboards need cleaning and floor in the corners, some ceiling and wall repairs and painting. Needs old caulking removed as some areas had mildew or rust and apply new caulking around bathtub.
Curtains only opened on one side, so you were not able to get full view of your harbor view out the window, one side had the rod to push/pull curtain open the otherside did not, and when trying to open by just pulling it would not move..
Staff was friendly and helpful. Location was perfect, close to the cruise port.
The hotel had an odour of an older place, so that wasn't great, but understandable. The bathroom was quite run-down, but again, for an older hotel, I could overlook it. What was unacceptable was that there were no blankets on the beds, just two sheets and only 2 thin pillows per bed. We were very cold and uncomfortable as the AC wouldn't turn off, and we ended up opening the window for heat.
Dirty
Dirty ,needs up dating from rugs to bathrooms. No pool and junk at bottom. Morning coffee was empty when we asked for some we were told one pot a day. That’s at 930 in morning.
The bed was GREAT, very comfortable. The location was very close to port, perfect walking distance.
The room itself needed LOTS of work, from a random sink in the middle of the room, to crazy smells. I was very worried about taking a shower in there so I didn’t even attempt it in my 1 night stay. The carpet was up in a couple places and it seemed like a random mix of utilities put in random locations.
Nothing really.
Place didn’t look like the pictures on the booking app , place was dirty , the rooms where dirty holes in the wall place need repairs .
The location was amazing. Walking distance to the cruise terminal was important to us. The San Pedro fish market was across the street, so it was a great option for dinner.
The establishment needs a complete remodel. Carpets were old, our shower curtain rod was ready to fall off, the bar soap they provided was about 1" x 1 1/2", and the room just needs some TLC.
Location
Dirty
Good location. On site parking.
This place is completely run down. Peeling paint, bathrooms are falling apart. Only one towel for 2 guests. Property had a weird order. Pool is dry and unused. Basically the owners are doing the bare minimum and taking advantage of people who cruise due to the close proximity to the port. I felt this was more of an “hourly rate” type of hotel. The worst I have ever stayed in.
Hotel was within walking distance to Virgin Cruise Ship terminal and around the corner from the 6th Street eateries.
The daytime front desk clerk (owner? 60's and with trendy glasses) was surprisingly unpleasant for someone in the hotel/service industry. Miserable demeanor and off-putting. Not suited for this type of job. He was unwilling to store our luggage in what ended up being his "everything" room (disorganized and messy) so were forced to kill time with our luggage. He told us to come back at 1:30PM - only 1 bath and hand towel, and he say that 2 of us were checking in. We didn't like his disposition so asked the night desk clerk (nice young man) who was the complete opposite. The common areas of the hotel were rundown, gaudy and worn-out paint job and carpeting. The hotel room was equally rundown (please see attached photos). The tub faucet knob was barely attached and felt like it was ready to fall off; the drawers of the built-in cabinet stayed closed by paper shims!, the air conditioner had caked-on dust.
Great location to cruise terminal.
Hotel is older and needs to be updated.
I didn’t like that I didn’t have a microwave
The location, the staff was nice
The property was extremely dated, the building has a constant smoke smell. And someone decided to start smoking in the hotel at 2am
