Cleaning needs to be more detailed
Convenient location
Room smelled stale, not as clean as expected and needs to be updated
Quite part of town
Staff was hard to understand and Cost more than it said it was going to online. Blankets were horrible on the bed and there was a lot of stains on walls and just not well kept.
Room temperature, not high traffic, breakfast was included
Cleanliness, over priced
It was close to event and good breakfast.
Our room looked as if it had never been clean and it smelled like cat pee.
I don't think that they even cleaned the room that I stayed the room smelled and there was someone else's hair in the shower and there wasn't any shampoo in there and I don't understand how you can charge someone that much money when it actually wasn't worth the amount of money that I paid and I never said anything because I know that nothing would of been any different and I didn't have any time to find a different place to go to
It wasn't worth the amount I paid for the room that I paid for and I wouldn't recommend that place to anyone because it wasn't very clean I've stayed in other places and this was the worst experience I've ever had in my life
Unfortunate event of flooding made the first floor smell like mold for a long time
The facility is older but still in decent condition. The bed was comfortable, and the room was spacious. The room supplied a microwave, mini fridge, and shampoo/conditioner
It looked a lot better from the outside than it did on the inside. I also accidentally booked a suite instead of a regular room and there was a recliner to sit in which was nice. The shower also had great water pressure.
There was never anybody at the front desk when I tried to check in both times I stayed there. After 20min of spam calling the front desk the first time I stayed, somebody finally came out from the back office to unplug the landline. They were on their phone yelling at somebody and ignored me until they ended their call. The second time I stayed there I had to spam call the front desk again but that time nobody ever came out. Instead I walked around the hotel trying to find somebody who worked there and after 10min I found a maintenance guy who tried calling the front desk woman who had left her phone up front. After another 10min she finally came to the front and told me there were no rooms that were ready since nobody was there to clean the rooms after people left so I had to pay a cancellation fee to cancel that reservation and go to a different hotel.
Close to ISU
The shower could have been cleaner.
Location & price
Dirty & dated common areas.
Pool was nice open area but did not use.
The rooms were not clean. The floors had hair and dirt on them. The bed headboards were dusty. The room had a once over picked up look but were not clean. The shower curtain was hung inside out. The front desk gave minimal information. The water was shut off at 9am on a Friday morning without any notice. I was charged more for my stay on a Friday night than Thursday night and was never told, only saw it on my receipt. I would not stay here again.
Stayed here during the first part of June 26. To say it was a sh&t show is an understatement. I have chronic cardiac problems and a recent kideny cancer/CKI diagnoses. Everyone at this property (save #1 who made me stay in the lobby after getting back from the ER) was wonderful. They were helpful, kind, caring, and although there are plenty of better placed much more modern properties I won't hesitate to stay here. To the guy that made me sit in the lobby all night: find a new job.
I didn’t have breakfast. Beds were nice.
The bathroom was very dirty and disgusting. There were spiders on the bathroom floor. There were spiderwebs in the bathroom. There were brown spots on the bathroom walls and some of the brown spots had hair stuck to them.
The hotel smelled very musty. Floors were dirty. Used soap was in the shower, the hairdryer didn't work, the charger in the lamp didn't work, they didn't have coffee at breakfast, there was no staff at the desk even after a janitor called someone. Just a multitude of annoying issues that need addressed
Breakfast was ok.
The bathroom was filthy. We would even get in the shower. Needed more blankets too. Froze all night.
