The front desk staff was polite and pleasant. The lobby was clearly worn out and long past need of remodeling.the exterior of the building also worn out.
The bathtub caulking was white with dark brown splotches thruout (old mold). Everything was old and tired. Noisy neighbors above. The breakfast options were very limited and not appealing.

Location was good, and cost was very good. Complementary breakfast. Staff seemed nice enough. Room had a refrigerator in the microwave and cable TV/remote worked.
The staff wasn’t rude, but they didn’t explain anything, they didn’t offer knowledge about Wi-Fi, breakfast, the pool, etc. Didn’t use language like, welcome in and thank you for staying. I wasn’t told how to check out, and if no one was at the desk just to leave the key in a container. That would’ve been good information to know. The room and hotel overall is very outdated. The bathtub in the room was peeling, the carpet felt very dirty and old, the bed was lumpy and sunk in so that felt old. It wasn’t very comfortable. I highly recommend they update it. This is a personal preference thing, but I did not like the sink being outside of the bathroom in the same room as the beds. We stayed there because they allow pets, and it was cheaper than other hotels.

TV didn't work, wifi was very bad, and the location wasn't great. We would have prefered to stay closer to downtown area.
Clean & comfortable room. Close to some amazing views of the Yakima River. Just a 5 mile drive to the amazing Thorp Fruit & Antique Mall
