Location good
The room was very small and was not what we booked. The A/C was on when we arrived I tried but could not get it to turn off without success, I then rang for help and was told that ok will send someone to rectify. As we where ging out that evening I advised ok to enter the room whilst we we out. We arrived back at the hotel at 10.30pm after a very pleasant night out only to find the A/C was still on and the room cold. We had to put some towels on the bed to keep a bit warm. We had to leave fairly quickly the next morning and decided to write to the hotel rather than advise of our disappointment.
I stayed for the Brighton Marathon, and the staff were incredible with all my needs, especially once I had finished the race and needed ice for my joints. Breakfast had a great selection in the morning and the location of the hotel is spot on for the run. Really great views right on the sea front and a short walk to the train station as well.
Special shout-out to Ruth, who organised getting my jacket mailed to me because I left it in the wardrobe when I checked out, absolutely made my week!
Room was very nice and spacious and quiet......everyone was super helpful and tried to help, even we had TWO fire alarms which resulted in two full evacuations but see below for some comments
OK, Room 280 my room needs to be taken off sale - I had an issue with getting hot water. The really helpful maintenance was right there telling me there was a known problem - I had to run the shower; run the sink and flush the toilet 10 times and I then I got hot water - it was a pain but I got used to it - not acceptable really, he said they knew about it, but didn't know how to mend it - therefore, take it off sale........it's not right. Also, your evacuation procedures need to be looked at urgently.....two of my colleagues slept through the fire alarm and sure, ALL rooms should be checked for residents if it's safe.....also, the lack communication by the night staff wasn't really there, only when someone insisted they told everyone what was going on.....this was after 90 mins !!!!
Visited the Double Tree Hilton in December 2025 and thought it was amazing, I still feel the same the property is fantastic value for money
No problems with that property
Staff. Food and location.
Spa and pool was very dirty. Lots of drain flies everywhere. Not what it looks on the pictures.
Amazing room breakfast was amazing
Swimming pool could of had sun chairs but not a bad issue
Lovely room, breakfast had a lot of variety, location was sea front.
I didn't like the fact that wi-fi was not free - in this day and age where a B & B is able to offer free wi-fi I think it is shocking that a hotel chain like Double tree by Hilton expects its clients to pay for wi-fi and blocks networks in order to force people to buy the wi-fi. Especially at the price paid for the room.
My stay was amazing.
Excellent service , ambience , breakfast , staff

Great location , very comfortable quiet room
Price was inflated due to the marathon
The hotel itself was stunning! The service was very good and the breakfast was lovely!
It wasn’t so much a dislike but the spa area was quite limited and small.
Car parking for hotel guests should be included in the hotel price in my opinion.
Nice breakfast and location friendly atmosphere all good
No cold smoked salmon to go with the lovely poached egg
Trevligt läge
Det fanns inget wifi.
