Great welcoming staff, lovely room, very dog friendly
Property was great,clean and welcoming
Hotel du Vin really made us feel special celebrating our anniversary - they went the extra mile and we really appreciated it. We had the most wonderful stay and will be returning!
Helpful staff and great location
Could be more food options beds really comfy I found there was now wear to site in and around area needs more seats
Have loved this hotel for decades. Rooms are beautifully designed with luxury bathrooms and L’Occitane toiletries. Only downside is the from noise from the air conditioner. Superb friendly reception team.
Lovely hotel- perfect for visiting Wimbledon - very helpful staff
This was our 3rd visit to the hotel which we use when visiting our daughter who lives in Wimbledon. Lovely location, but the only thing I find disappointing is that the rooms aren't very soundproof (no double glazing and creaky floorboards). We had booked a room with a garden view, but they put us overlooking the car park again, although 'upgraded' us to a slightly bigger room with a Nespresso machine. They offered to move us after the first of 3 nights, but it was to much hassle by then as we were out all day from early morning. Nice walk from the hotel into the village which has nice coffee shops for breakfast and a good selection of restaurants. Not too far to train station for going into London.
Great hotel great location
Amazing staff
This is a beautiful old house. Immaculate and superior customer service. Rooms cleaned daily. Beautiful lobby and dining room. Benita was excellent in reception the day we checked out!
Staff were very friendly and helpful. The beds are very comfortable, but the whole place is getting very tired. Nit sure if it has every been updated since first open. Make sure you ask for yeh right suite as they are different and we moved rooms.
Very beautiful garden and surrounding areas
Lovely hotel room excellent and a very comfortable bed.
Amazing otel really beautiful
Lovely location. Room was very warm. The bedding extremely heavy
I really enjoyed my stay at the hotel. The rooms are cozy but well-fitted. The staff are extremely courteous and take their jobs very seriously which I appreciated. We had an excellent dinner there as well. Wimbledon Village is nearby with nice shops and restaurants but this isn’t in the middle of everything which I was fine for me, but not someone looking for nightlife. That’s why I took off a star.
A very well situated property within a reasonable walk of the All England Club, and in the attractive setting of Cannizzaro Park.
The period building public areas are well maintained, and give an insight into past times.
Our Junior Suite on the second was rather disappointing as it was quite dark, and populated by some rather strange dark wood furniture. The sitting room had enough space for a sofa, but instead had a table and two upright chairs. Why have a set of shelves with absolutely nothing on any of them in both the sitting and bedrooms?
The bed was comfortable with good quality linen.
Breakfast was “ok” - £27 is a premium price and I’m afraid the quality did not match.
I had expected much better from Hotel du Vin, but this was a very average experience.
We were in the area for a family wedding and stayed a couple of nights. Our room was comfortable and well appointed with a large en-suite bathroom. The staff were helpful and welcoming and the breakfasts were very good. The location is excellent with lovely views across the common. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay.
Liked the feel of the hotel, relaxed, quiet, the features and decor were lovely like a stately home. It so good was the slow shower and cobwebs on the ceiling and walls in the corner and above the bed, reported this but it was still there in the evening. I would still go there again
Room was great nice walks local to hotel
