Good size rooms. Amazing breakfast.
25 hr noise from lift shaft and very small window from room 1839
We booked the deluxe room. We did not receive this. Upon arrival we were told we only had 2 single beds for my 3 children between two rooms that should have been next to each other. They expected us to share the king size bed between three. They told us they would add a camp bed but would have to move our room. We had to pay more for this and we weren’t told this would be a down grade. The rooms were awful, dirty, musty and mouldy. I complained and we were told they would upgrade us on our return trip as we were holidaying in Australia between visits to Singapore. When we returned from a long flight at what would be 2am for my children, check in took forever even though we were seen straight away - they take FOREVER in the computer assigning rooms. During this time, I reminded the member of staff dealing with us we were promised an upgrade. He assured us we would be upgraded. Eventually upon getting our key cards, we lugged our luggage to our room up their flawed lift system you also have to wait ages for only to find we were given the exact same rooms only on a different floor. Over looking the bins and even more grim than the first stay. I have photos but these wouldn’t highlight the smell! I left my family in one of the rooms and went back to the staff member to explain how unhappy we were. Eventually after a long and very confusing conversation, we were given a key card to an exec suite and told there would be 2 singles, my husband, 8 year old and myself would share the king and a camp bed would be added in the morning. Luckily I checked the room before moving my family and luggage there as there was only one king size bed. I went back to the check in desk and was met with no apology and instead contempt. I explained I wanted to see the manager and told they would be available at 9am leaving us with no option but to sleep in the horrible rooms assigned. Eventually we were given two exec suite which were still dated and not as nice as the original room we booked.
Everything!!!!!!! The staff at the check in desks weren’t equipped to deal with problems. The hotel needs a good clean and paint and refurb

Die Lage und Ausstattung
Die Zimmer sind etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Fast alles self Service. Reinigung nur alle 3 Nächte
Breakfast spread was extensive and the food was delicious. The staff were very helpful, especially the gentleman in charge of the luggage storage. Nice swimming area. Spacious rooms. The waterfall lounge was a personal favorite among my family.
When we checked in, the room smelled of durians. However, upon informing the front desk of the situation, they promptly changed our room, although switching rooms with baggages after just getting off a flight was a bit of a hassle. Amenities like scales and irons were unavailable at most times, but we do understand it is the responsibility of the guests to return them once used.
All of it
Nothing to complain about at all
The rooms were adequate and functional; the TV was very antiquated, though. We asked for an updated model and were able to get one, along with a thinner pillow. The location was a bit out of the city centre, but within walking distance to the MRT, and the bus stop was just a few metres from the hotel. Breakfast was good; you were lucky to get a table with the number of people, and sometimes staff couldn't keep up with refilling empty food containers.
The staff was very helpful, polite, and friendly. A special thanks goes to our room service lady by the name of Nancy, who always greeted us with a smile and who went above and beyond to meet our needs.
The waterfall cafe, though, didn't meet our requirements with timely delivery of food at lunchtime, even though it wasnt busy.
