The main reason we booked here was because it said it had a ‘ seasonal pool ‘ we had a lot of time to kill during the day so thought this would be ideal to sit round daytime .
When we checked in they said that I would need to speak to the manager about when it’s opening as pool was covered over and area around padlocked shut !! The next day we asked someone else and he said it hadn’t been opened for 3 years !! Yet they are still advertising it on Booking.Com !! Fuming we could have gone cheaper but only booked here for the pool !!!!
The room had a musty odor. The front door had been visibly forcibly opened numerous times before.

We received clean towels every day and the bed was made up. Even though we did it ourselves before leaving out.
The hotel is outdated. The carpet was soiled and the room had a stale smell. The room and bathroom were cleaned
The coffee machine in the main office dripped constantly and brewed poorly. The breakfast sandwiches were hard every day.
I like the price, compared to other options in the area.
It is an old motel, that shows it's age. The pool was closed ~ which was not disclosed on the motel's website. It has clearly been closed for a while too. Not cool.

The staff was extra helpful. I had to leave my bags at the hotel as I went to an event. They took great care of it for me.

I enjoy my time at SureStay Plus by Best Western Woodbury long
The location was surprisingly good, the diner right across the street is very authentic plus there are lots of stores and services in the area. Appreciated the possibility of a later checkout.
Honestly expected more for the price but it was okay for a weekend. Reached out to the hotel after having made the reservation about possibly adding one more room, never heard back. During the stay, keycards (for 3 different rooms) weren't working properly, we kept having to exchange them. Breakfast was sparse.
