The room was clean.
There are two buildings in the complex. If you stay in the one across the road from the check-in desk, and you’re out past 10pm, they lock the building down and you can’t get in, even with your card key. You have to go across the road and use the tunnel back to your side of the street. Considering I had my 81yo mother there to see Anne of Green Gables, it was an unbelievable inconvenience, especially for what I paid.

It was close to downtown and an easy walk there and back.
It’s being renovated so the rooms were not ready. And by that I mean, I think they had just finished tiling the bathrooms and floors before we got there. It smelled like drywall dust. It was clean but very minimally. The wifi was horrible and the hairdryer in the bathroom only blew cold air!

Portions of facility closed because of construction. Not informed until after reservations were made and paid for. Site should have been more transparent and/or offered a partial rebate based upon condition of premises.

Perfect location, near great restaurants and just down the road from the theatre. Staff was excellent, everyone was very nice and helpful.

The location was ok for my needs, for a tourist spending their day in town, it would be very good.
The construction forced people to go the long way around to access the suites opposite the office, but it was a minor inconvenience.

Room was newly renovated and bed was comfortable. Room had a kitchen with full size fridge.
There was no comfortable seating in the room. The hotel is under slow renovations which was NOT disclosed pre-booking. To get from the only entrance and exit at front desk, one has to haul luggage down a dirty flight of stair then down ramp tunnel under the street. Housekeeping came only every 2nd day. Breakfast is packaged muffins, Costco chocolate covered granola bars, juice and an apple or orange. Coffee is in the room.
