Lovely stay -will come back
Pros:

Loved my stay at Novotel Cairns Oasis Resort.Check in was quick,staff was very friendly.Room was big,clean and bed was super comfortable.
Will definitely come back.

Cons:

The only minus is very bad soundproofing-I can hear everything that was happening in the corridor or next door

Great location and facilities, the Moku cafe and bar was excellent value

The linen is looking a bit tired and old , need to upgrade sheets -they were not the crisp white sheets i would expect in a 4-5 star hotel

The hotel was nice, the cocktails were good

Cons:

The service at the pool bar was so slow. It took up to 30 mins to get served a drink some days. Paying a 15% surcharge on everything all weekend put a dampener on things. While the staff were friendly one staff member had a go at another in front of me which was incredibly awkward and this same staff member looked miserable the whole weekend.
Also only being able to order drinks for 90 mins on good Friday if you ordered a main was really annoying.
The bed was comfy but the pillows were far too soft

Very good. Close to everything. This was my second stay and would stay again

Super comfortable bed and pillow.
Great breakfast options.

Cons:

We stayed over Easter. As a patron, we had to pay 15% public holiday surcharge rates on meals/ drinks ordered. Whilst I know that public holiday surcharges are common practice, I think it should be waived for patrons.

Truly an Oasis. The pool was amazing for us a d our 4 young grandkids.
Pros:

The breakfast was amazing. Fresh,tastey and an amazing assortment of food. Our kids were treated so kindly by the staff too. We'd stay there again.

Cons:

We requested 3 rooms together on the same floor but had to settle on 2 rooms on one floor and the other a floor below.
