Buffet breakfast very good.
Pity the pool is not heated when most visitors have come from colder climes and looking forward to using the swim up bar!
Unfortunately my/our conference was booked here, so for convenience sake, we stayed here. The conference set up was a disaster. Unable to control the aircon for the room as an individual entity. Was charged $5 a day for a powerboard, not the cost but a conference room without a powerboard for laptops?
Whole place needs renovations. Paint missing, chairs in dining room are disgusting with wet marks on seats. Swimwear or ??
Probably the worst breakfasts at any hotel, I have ever stayed at! Not one item on the bay maree was hot . Not just one day but every day for 5 out of the 6 days. (other day we went out for breakfast as it was so poor).
In the room, it was dated, but ok. Bed was comfortable.Water temp is lukewarm at the max to say the least.
Conference food was appalling. Coffee brought to the conference room / I was having a double espresso, was cold every time.
What can I say?
Don’t have your conference here, and don’t stay here.
The only positive was the pool looked good for kids, but did not try it.

Nothing it was all perfect
I stayed for 6 nights. My room wasn't cleaned on two of those nights. Even today, I returned from a tour after 9 PM, and it still hadn't been cleaned. The sheets and towels had stains and bloodstains, and the smell of cigarette smoke from the next room made it impossible to open the window. Was the service I paid for provided?
Amazing pool-side bar with great food! Really felt like a holiday. Perfect location to enjoy all Cairns has to offer.
Pillows were a little uncomfortable.
Rooms were comfortable and cleaned daily. However, we chose every 2nd day. Breakfast was Ok. The in house dinners were OK. Bathrooms were spacious and the water nice and hot! Beautiful bath towels.
The pool was too cold to be comfortable. A Lack of lounge chairs and space around the pool was frustrating. The housekeeping worked "sometimes". We found a half empty milk container in our fridge when we first arrived. And then sometimes found that some complimentary items were not replaced when the room was cleaned! Many times we had to go to reception to get more milk, sugar and tea bags! One day our room was missed altogether. However, once reception was informed, a cleaner was promptly sent to our room. The local birds (wildlife) proved a challenge for some breakfast customers!! I have had better breakfasts but I have also had worse!
Room was lovely, clean and comfortable and the location is great. The pool is excellent and the reason I chose to stay here. The whole place has a lovely holiday vibe. Staff are great too….
There are a pitiful amount of pool lounges and seating around the pool. The buffet breakfast is a bit basic but it is edible. The balconies are very small (although I had a shared garden space on the ground floor with the world’s least comfy chair and no table)
Right from the start. Easy check in and friendly helpful staff. Great room (401) overlooking the lovely resort beach style pool. The rooms are very clean and modern, comfortable bed and large tv. Coffee and tea making facilities and a mini fridge for our drinks. The bar downstairs was lovely to sit and have a few drinks. Close to everything and all round perfect. Will stay again next time I’m lucky enough to be up that way
