Nice, quiet, clean. North Americans will find the rooms quite small

Nice, quiet, clean, helpful staff. North Americans will find the rooms small, even by European standards. Shower enclosure does not keep the water out of the rest of the bathroom. No washcloths -- you can order disposable/compostable washcloths from Amazon. Breakfast included and very good but crowded. I might have wanted to stay closer to the harbour. You're only a 10-15 minute walk away but it's uphill on the return and not much else around the hotel if you are looking for a restaurant or bar. Staff were very helpful: we booked a taxi to the port for 3:30 (through them) that never showed and they worked hard to find one from another company. Also, bit odd that the hotel is in two buildings across the road. Check in and breakfast in one building; our room across the street.

Lovely stay in great rooms close to the water.

Expérience très négative
Cons:

La chambre n'était pas dans l'immeuble principal mais dans une annexe, sans lobby ni bar.
La literie était de très mauvaise qualité. L'impression d'être sur un trempoline, dès que l'un de nous bougeait, l'autre était secoué au point de le réveiller. Après la première nuit et notre réclamation, nous avons été déplacés dans une seconde annexe. La douche était si petite que nous avions du mal à nous glisser derrière la vitre qui servait à fermer la "douche" qui consistait en un trou de vidange dans la plancher. Payer 345 €/nuit pour un tel confort est inadmissible.

Tråkigt bemötande. Onödigt beteende. Detta överskuggar en i övrigt bekväm natt.

Trasigt avlopp i badrummet orsakade rejäl översvämning.
Personalen sa”jag är ensam här och vi har fullbokat för det är vår nationaldag !” Hon gav oss en gummiskrapa.
Jag förklarade lugnt att det inte var mitt problem att hon var ensam o fullbokat o nationaldag. Jag förstod att det inte är du som saboterat avloppet men det är din uppgift att ge mig ett nytt rum.
1 min senare hittade hon ett jättebra rum.

Pros:

Location was excellent - we were able to walk with luggage both from the main train station and to the Hurtgruten ferry terminal. It was also a convenient walk to nearby restaurants and the old city. The windows were cracked open and there was some fresh air.

Cons:

There was no restaurant (except for breakfast), but the staff gave us good advice on nearby alternatives.
