Amazing location, rooms need refurbishment
Pros:

The rooms are defintely old and the hotel has a great view, restaurant, beach and pool. Apart from that, everything else like the premise are old.

Cons:

The rooms and breakfast was not really good

It is an old hotel and after the ownership changed, the hotel lost it authenticity by the renovation and unfortunately made in an unmatched way

- Die Außenanlage mit Pool und Meerzugang waren megaschön und sehr komfortabel
- Zimmer inkl. Badezimmer waren sehr schön und sauber
- Shuttle Service nach Taormina
- Aussicht war top
- Frühstück kein Highlight aber okay

Cons:

- insgesamt die Gänge und Hallen schon sehr abgewohnt und in die Jahre gekommen
- wenn schon 14€ für einen Cocktail am Pool, dann bitte mit etwas mehr Liebe anrichten und nicht im Plastikbecher
- Zimmer leider sehr hellhörig
- bei dem Preis hätte ich mir schon etwas mehr erwartet

Fantastic facilities, would definitely recommend!
Pros:

Free shuttle bus was great, easy to book & always on time!
Pool area & beach are fantastic, plenty of sun loungers & staff around if needed.
Breakfast buffet had so much choice.
Amazing view from our room of Mt Etna.

Cons:

Bathroom layout wasn’t the best, quite cramped.
Didn’t use the restaurants as menus not to our taste & also expensive compared to restaurants in Taormina.

Beautiful location, great beach and pool in a great area but be prepared to pay a lot for taxis to and from the hotel.
Pros:

Beautiful location with the private beach and pool- the staff by the beach/pool were absolutely wonderful. Really helpful, kind and friendly.
The local area is also lovely though not as walkable, especially at night as it’s on a main road. Most staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very nice, with lovely staff and lots of choice. Be careful not to end up in an adjoining room as we could hear everything from our neighbours room(!)

Cons:

It is worth noting that the free shuttle to Taormina is not as easy as it sounds. It doesn’t run for a large chunk of the day, and when it does it easily books up. This was a bit of a pain as it meant we had to use taxis a lot which are expensive in the area. The food by the pool bar is extortionately overpriced and poor quality. Otherwise it’s a fabulous spot.
