Adequate if overpriced.
Pros:

Location. Ideal for concerts.

Cons:

Rooms felt a little run down. Peeling laminate on furniture. Floors a little creaky and uneven. Sofa bed in suite really uncomfortable as a sofa!

Convenient location, superb gym and breakfast
Pros:

The location is great for the meetings we had; it was easy to come and go from there. The area was beautiful. There is a train station nearby and food options close by. The rooms are comfortable. The staff is friendly. The breakfast was great. The gym was superb.

Cons:

The bathrooms are a little outdated. Any request for an early check-in or a late check-out had to be paid for. Even for an hour.

Fabulous stay
Pros:

We got complimentary check out for 1pm which was a huge help with the kids as we went swimming.. very friendly staff. The room was absolutely perfect and we will definitely be booking here again.

Cons:

We didn't dislike anything. We tried Milano across the road and wouldn't recommend. We should jave tried the East restaurant instead

Room and Bar excellent
Pros:

Room was very clean and comfortable, I didnt stay for breakfast, location was perfect for my visit

Cons:

What I didnt like was the restaurant I was going into hospital the next morning for an operation and would not be eating proper food for a few days so I ordered a malaysian dish( It is Maylasian themed) from the menu
which was not upto expectation it was not a good offering for the price charged I wont labour on this subject but the problem with the food was pointed out to the manageress on duty at the time In conclusion should I stay at the Spencer again the resturant will not be on my agenda
