Ok...but not more than that.
Pros:

Has definitely potential. Location, pool, breakfast great. Staff partially unfriendly. Room was lacking maintenance. Toilet not draining properly, could not be used for a morning. False fire alarm out of the blue as they worked on the fire alarm system without prior notification. Stay did not meet expectations for a 4 star hotel. Too pricey. Would not return.

Schöne Zimmer
Pros:

Gute Lage! Schöne Zimmer

Cons:

Geringer Wasserdruck bei der Dusche,
Das Zimmer wäre bereits im 13:30 fertig gewesen, wir hätten aber für 1,5 h früher einchecken 50€ bezahlen müssen. Das finde ich persönlich eine Abzocke.

Good hotel in a good location
Pros:

It has been a number of years since I stayed at The Spencer, I used to stay there regularly for work. Inevitably a little tired in places but still a good hotel in a good location. The room was good and very clean with a very comfortable bed. Parking is nearby but is €25 per night and space not guaranteed. We only stayed overnight and didn’t have dinner or breakfast as we were catching an early Ferry but only criticism was each time we walked through reception the music was ridiculously loud and not very relaxing!

Lovely, clean, comfortable room. Excellent breakfast, reasonably priced. friendly, well mannered and courteous staff.
Good location.

Cons:

check in and check out a little slow. The weather had got cooler so I found the air conditioning to be set too cold.

Pros:

Beds very comfortable rooms spotless

Cons:

Asked for 100 euro deposit for breakages in room and if we wanted to check in early an extra 50 euro which I thought was too much. When I was checking out staff member never asked how was our stay which would have been nice.

Good hotel with a great gym but with a lot of traffic noise.
Pros:

The hotel is well located, with great gym and spa facilities and good staff. The room was a good size, with a fridge and good quality coffee maker. The room air conditioning was okay, but would only go down to 19 degrees and the bedding was quite heavy for warm weather; I woke repeatedly through the night because I was too warm. It would have been nice to have a lighter duvet and a removable blanket. My room was one with a balcony and the biggest negative is that there was a LOT of noise from the nearby road, even with windows and door sealed.
