Schönes, sauberes Hotel mit freundlicher Bedienung.Für US Verhältnisse gute Frühstück. Die Lageist sehr gut, in ein paar Minuten ist man im Zentrum von Monterey. Das Zimmer war sehr gross und das Bett bequem.

Cons:

Unser Zimmer war direkt zur Strasse und die Fänster haben schlecht gedämmt. Um 7 Uhr ka daher der automatische Wecker.

First of all Christina at the front desk was just real and down to earth , very genuine I love people like that ❤️

The location is the best ! You are in walking distance to Cannery Row that means all the shops and restaurants.

Breakfast in the morning at Victorian Inn is a step up from your normal continental breakfast they have hot food like sausage , n eggs , with choices of cereals and waffles (-hot ), juices , coffee and hot cocoa. And the staff is outstanding, very easy to approach about anything and they listen .

The wine and cheese in the evening is perfect before you go out to dinner . A lil something in your belly with a small pre game before you take a quick minute drive somewhere or walk to Crystal Fish around the corner; if you love sushi !

Overall the place is 9 out 10 only because this is a Me thing - I heard so much noise but that's because it's not a normal hotel where all rooms are indoor every door is outside so I could hear deliveries being made , all the cars on the streets and every voice that was close to my room but again this is a me thing and in no way the hotel.

Oh and by the way , if you have something going on like a birthday or anniversary I would definitely let them know in advance because you never what little surprise you may get from the staff ! I will definitely be rebooking my stay anytime I'm back in Monterey!

Pros:

Lovely room with fireplace, bay windows with seats. Really appreciated the dual sink areas so 2 could get ready at the same time.
Included Breakfast options were very good.

Cons:

Remote for TV didn’t work but was quickly replaced.

L'emplacement. Le personnel de salle.

La note de 8,8 sur votre site est incompréhensible. Nous étions dans une chambre donnant sur la rue au rez-de-chaussée et le bruit des voitures est omniprésent (simple vitrage). Le plancher bois de l'étage est d'origine : nous avons été réveillés par les bruits de pas des personnes de la chambre de l'étage supérieur qui venaient d'arriver. Les portes donnent directement sur les parties communes et le bruit des valises roulantes ainsi que les conversations des personnes sont également très présentes.Cet hôtel n'a pas fait l'objet de rénovations depuis des décennies. Le chauffage émet un bruit incessant lors de son utilisation. Nous avons demandé à changer de chambre mais l'hôtel était complet. Le geste commercial proposé en compensation a été de 50 $ pour 3 nuits. Le prix du parking est de 90$ pour 3 nuits.Le montant total du séjour a été de 930 €. J'ai choisi cet hôtel en grande partie eu égard à sa note sur votre site et aux commentaires. Il s'agit de l'hotel le plus cher de notre séjour et la pire expérience.

Room was clean and spacious. Bed was comfortable. Staff were positive.

Cons:

Although the hotel charges for daily parking on site, you are not assured of a parking place. We returned from dinner one evening and had to park in an unacceptably tight space. Front desk told us that if we could not find a space to park at the hotel, we would simply have to go find somewhere else and they would deduct the parking fee for that night.
Breakfast was very basic.
