The furnishings are very rundown and well overdue for renovation. The carpeting in the hallways to the main dining area could all use a refresh.

Lovely boutique hotel Monterey.
Pros:

This hotel was such an amazing find so close to the Aquarium and Cannery Row.
It is family owned and the nice amenities such as a good breakfast and afternoon wine and snack gathering was well attended.
We loved the spacious rooms, parking and fireplaces.
This is a perfect place to stay in Monterey due to its amenities and reasonable prices.
The staff was five star!

I would stay here again.
Pros:

Hotel was clean with large room and comfortable bed. Staff was very friendly and location was with in walking distance to many restaurants and attractions.

Cons:

Breakfast was fine but they had run out of some food item when I got there which was pretty early.
