Get out of town, get out of the front range. Nice break from traffic.
Pros:

If you live on Colorado's front range, going to Grand Junction is like taking a road trip to another state. Beautiful scenery, the town has little traffic and there are great hotels and restaurants. Also, you can experience vineyards and orchards and purchase fresh fruit at the many roadside fruit stands.

Extra mile
Pros:

I’ve been here several times over the years and always enjoyed it. Recently I arrived late from a delayed flight 3 minutes before the restaurant closed. Onalee was so kind and set me up with a meal at the last minute. Thanks to the kitchen staff and bar tender Onalee for your patience and excellent service!

Great place to eat.
Pros:

We were stuck in Grand Junction and decided to eat in the hotel restaurant. First night I had the French dip that Josh recommended and it was delicious. Great recommendation.

Second night, Onalee and Josh waited on us and they worked well together making sure we were thoroughly taken care of.

Great service and good food. A winning combination.

Ok, but definitely not worth the price. Could use an update.
Pros:

The breakfast was great, but I booked the room with breakfast included for only 10$ more per night. If I wouldn't have, we would have owed 17$ per person! I did love the free Doubletree cookies upon checking in.

Cons:

Everything seemed a bit dirty. Carpets were pretty gross and my bathroom had a lot hair in the shower. The beds weren't that comfortable, and you have to pay for parking! The only place I've ever stayed in town that charges a parking fee. That's just ridiculous 🙄
