Falafel wrap and chicken bacon sandwich was excellent! Becka’s service was over the top! Would definitely return if in the area.

The Hotel is old and not well maintained

I have been coming to this hotel for a couple weeks now because of some work I have in the area. I asked the sales director Mrs. Martin, if it was possible to get a fried egg in the morning for breakfast instead of the traditional scrambled eggs they offer. She told me to talk to Nikki in the restaurant. The next morning I talked to Nikki and she asked Chef Joe to make me 1 over hard fried egg. The egg was done perfect. Nikki and Jill did a great job of keeping my water glass full and asking if there anything else they could get me.

We usually stay at Hotel Maverick when we go to Special Olympics State Games but it was booked. We checked in to Doubletree and was told there was currently no hot water but may be restore that night or the next day. We were offered 10% discount. I overheard other guests checking in and they were getting 25% discount. The hot water never came on the entire weekend! We were offered a hot shower at a health club and I got 25% discount. Besides that issue, I noticed how rundown the room and hallways were. Stained carpet and worn tile in bathroom. The hot tub was a very unsanitary cloudy green color and the pool was cloudy too. I will not stay here again.

My sister and I had a wonderful stay at Doubletree in Grand Junction. We decided to 'staycation' and we were there 4 nights. The staff were ALL wonderful! We were made welcome and our room accommodated by LeAnne at the front desk. And Nikki and Jill absolutely made our visit! They were so gracious and fun and funny too, it was a wonderful experience! Thank you to everyone- your kindness and consideration are so very appreciated.

This hotel does not meet the Hilton standards to which I am accustomed as a Hilton Honors member for many years. My wife & I were part of a tour bus group of 16, so we did not actually choose this hotel. We were informed that the hotel had no hot water prior to our arrival. Ok, things can happen. We checked out the food options for dinner, and they were severely lacking so we ended up walking to another location. The breakfast was also terrible. Very limited options and little taste in the food. The tour company ended up refunding us the money spent for the room, but this hotel is in dire need of a major renovation, not only in the rooms but in the food offerings. A very disappointing experience. Had I been in charge of this tour, I would have scrambled to find other accommodations.

Double Tree Hotel Grand Junction is a very lovely and happening hotel. In particular, the lobby where my husband and I had dinner. Becka, in particular, who was very cool and hopeful. Becka was the bomb!

Nikki at the bar fantastic. Amazing service. I was in and out of the bar because I needed to make several phone calls. Nikki was always available to take care of me. She also made me feel at home and gave me great advice for my up coming drive. She is a keeper.

The rooms were great. Very clean. Nikki in the bar/restaurant was the best. She is great at her job.

The rooms are nice, but the staff made it a wonderful stay. Specifically Onalee and Dawn. They both were so welcoming and gave exceptional service for the two nights our group stayed. I will stay here every time I pass through Grand Junction just because of how welcome they made us feel.

We were on a road trip from Lincoln, Nebraska to California; Grand Junction was halfway. After a long day of driving, we were hungry. That's where Nikki from the hotel restaurant stepped in. She provided excellent service, great suggestions and a funny sense of humor. Exactly what was needed to wind down from 12 hours of driving. If you are at the Grand Junction DoubleTree, look for Nikki.
And no review is complete without a comment about the famous chocolate chip cookies-what a treat. Tasty, yummy and warm-great way to end the evening.

Becka was truly amazing in the hotel bar and restaurant. She was so attentive while we were staying at the hotel for our son‘s baseball tournament. She was so friendly and so kind and helped us with anything we need. She truly made our stay special. Thank you, Becka!
