It suits us for visiting family in the area
Our shower wasn't working , but to help staff were quick in the process of giving us another room
The bed was very big and comfortable, it was very quiet and easy to sleep at night without noises waking me up during the night. The receptionist was welcoming and the hotel felt safe as a lone female traveller. Its not as expensive as hotels you'd find in the city centre but its not that far anyway and there is a bus station 2 minutes away that can take you into the city centre.
The only thing I had a bit of trouble with was the shower because it was cold and difficult to figure out but otherwise all was well.
Personal ist sehr freundlich. Ein Wasserkocher war im Zimmer. Frühstück ist gut (neben dem sog. englischen Frühstück auch Cerealien mit verschiedenen Toppings, Joghurt, frische Croissants, Käse, Wurst, frisches Obst, etc.).
Die Matraze war schon sehr durchgelegen. Ich habe mich aber nicht beschwert, denn das Hotel war ausgebucht. Die Fenster waren schon länger nicht mehr geputzt worden. Das Badezimmer war nicht ausreichend hell, da nur eine Lampe funktionierte. Die anderen Deckenleuchten im Bad funktionierten nicht. Ich habe aber auch das nicht moniert.

The staff were excellent. They were kind and helpful.
The hotel has passed its ‘best by’ day and needs reinvestment. The corridors are tatty and tired. The shower in room 202 would only run hot when the cold bath tap also was running. The shower experience might have been good in 1975 but it disappoints in 2026. The radiator was installed in 1970 and could not be controlled the gap under the fire door was excessive and fails to protect the room from spread of fire the safe did not work. The lift call button to go down does not work. Press up to go down! Showers in the bath need to have grab handles. (Slip risks). Curtains coming off their tracks. Carpet by door is rucked
Area for hospital visiting
Staff few and far, noisy at night, lifts not great and breakfast very standard.
The hotel is conveniently located and easy to get to. It was clean.
The shower temperatures are erratic - sometimes cold, sometimes really hot.
Nobody empties the bins if you stay for more than one day.
Prices have gone up recently so value for money has gone down.
Location as I was in for an operation as it was ideal for my wife.
Very dated.
