Its location is very convenient
Lack of modern facilities. Food very basic
The staff are friendly the location of the hotel is quit easy to get by bus taxi and there is a train station five minute walk but have not used yet. The rooms are nice big
I think some parts of the hotel are looking a little bit tired you could do with a bit of fresh up. my room the shower did not work properly so I couldn't really get a hot shower.

A pleasant hotel on the outskirts of the greater city center, with train access just 10 minutes from the center of Glasgow.

Was a good location for what we needed and staff were kind.
The beds dip in the middle, were very uncomfortable and the cleanliness wasn’t to a good standard. There lights were damaged and hanging off the wall, shower ran hot and cold and there were stains on our sheets. It was also quite expensive so was disappointing for the price.
The breakfast was good. I especially enjoyed the French cheese, watermelon, and melon. The room was a very good size, and the bed was very comfortable. Overall, I had a pleasant stay.
The bathroom was the only thing I had a small issue with, especially the faucet in the bathtub. On the first day, I ran the water to take a bath but could not turn it off properly. A very kind young staff member came up from downstairs and helped me turn it off. After that, I learned to turn the faucet only slightly, so it was not really a problem for the rest of my stay. There was nothing else I disliked. The bed was very comfortable, the windows were large, and I really appreciated that when I requested a room on a higher floor, the staff kindly accommodated my request.

Decor extremely tired. Badly cracked wash basin with obvious repair. Difficulty balancing taps to be able to shower.
Enamel in bath worn down to metal.

Hairdryer wouldn't work
Reception staff were friendly and helpful. I stayed in a twin room which was spacious and the bed was fairly comfortable. Easy transport links to the city centre, and a short walk to the botanical gardens. Half an hour walk to the university.
The room, bathroom in particular, wasn't particularly clean. There were coffee (I hope!) stains down the back of the door, hair on the floor and in the sink. The shower temperature regulation meant that you'd be freezing one second, scalding the next.
The staff were lovely and friendly , the beds were very comfortable and good location near the west end
The property was dirty and tired
Rubbish in corridors , bathrooms damp and mould and broken , walls marked and dirty
On room had toast crusts left out side the door
