Leonardo Inn Glasgow West End

The en suite was very poor and not very clean. We asked for accessibility rooms and the bed were spilt but then only one had a mattress protector and May could do with clean.

The bathroom fittings were seriously in need of attention and repair. A door hook was broken, the shower control had no dial and did not provide a steady stream of water at the same temperature, and the grouting and shower hose had not been properly cleaned. The carpeting and other flooring was dubiously 'cleaned'.
The weak coffee served at breakfast was not a good start to my day.

When I first checked in I was given a room that was in use. Then I received a vacant room. The entire hotel is tired, which is ok, but the room was sloppy. Crooked lamps, not really clean, but all I need is a good bed and a pillow. I wasn't sure if I should walk on the carpet barefoot. My third night as I was about to set my alarm I noticed a small bug crawling on the sheet, I knocked it off. Then I quickly turned around to look and sure enough, there was another one... bedbugs! Ugh! I jumped up and called the reception with no answer, so I dressed and went down. Apologies and I received another room. The pleasant man helped me with my luggage once he also saw the bedbug, but the room he took me to was occupied. We walked into a room where people were sleeping! Finally another room. It was 1am and I was due to fly out in the am. I had no choice. I slept on top of the clean white duvet and put a sheet over me. This room seemed a bit cleaner, but still. The staff were all very pleasant and very apologetic. They refunded my stay... So now I must put all my belongings in the dryer on high heat for 45 minutes. Not sure about suitcase, headphones, etc. Fortunately I keep all belongings in packing cubes in my suitcase and nothing on the floor or bed, only on the desk area. Hoping that helps.

The rooms although clean were a bit tired

Slightly grubby. Glasses in the bathroom were filthy.Have stayed before and this wasn't a problem.

A particularly loud man who I assume was the restaurant manager , his use of profanities to some male members of staff was not required, having worked in the trade myself for many years, swearing does not motivate staff or look good in front of customers

Door handle broke, bathroom and hallways a bit ran down with flaking paint and in need of redecorating, noise during the night from other guests.
