Leider war das Restaurant und die Bar geschlossen. Die Lady an der Bar hat uns netterweise noch einen Gin-Tonic gemacht, welchen wir mit ins Zimmer nehmen konnten :-)

Definitely a recurring reservation for a nice night away.
Pros:

They stayed true to the reservation requested room and when calling or coming in day of! That the whirlpool had its own self clean, the bed was amazing. Definitely would return again for our 3 year anniversary.

Nice convenient place to stay near airport
Pros:

Nice hotel conveniently located 11 minutes from the airport. Comfortable room, friendly staff, and plenty of parking. Complementary snacks and beverages in a side room of the lobby.

Cons:

Never did see any view of a lake, although we did get there after dark. The shower wall seems like it needs to be replaced and the heater didn’t seem very dependable. Doors opening and closing in the hallway were a bit noisy.

Nice hotel but needs a bit of love
Pros:

This has the bones of a good hotel - it's an attractive building with a nice view of the lake and lakeside frontage. The restaurant was pretty good for dinner

Cons:

It needs a bit of TLC as everything feels a little rundown which is a shame. It's also a shame they've stopped offering a shuttle to the airport as the taxi was more expensive than I expected it to be.

10 Minuten nach der Ankunft weiss man, dass dieses Inn nicht hält was es verspricht.

Die gute Erreichbarkeit des Hotels ca. 15 Min vom Flughafen Halifax entfernt.
Unser Zimmer war zu einer sehr belebten Straße hin. Bei geschlossenen Fenstern ist das kein Problem.
Es herrschte Personalmangel. Das verbliebene Personal hat sich aber besonders bemüht den Mangel wett zu machen.
Wir waren eine Stunde vor dem offiziellen Termin zum Einchecken da und bekamen trotzdem sofort unsere Zimmer.

Cons:

Wir waren Anfang Oktober da. Der Pool war wie angekündigt geschlossen, weil bereits zu kalt.
Die Bar war geschlossen - wegen Personalmangel.
Die Betten waren sehr durchgelegen. Das Hotel ist in die Jahre gekommen. Überall blättert die Farbe ab. Der Teppich ist abgetreten. Das Hotel hat drei Stockwerke aber keinen Aufzug. Das Bad war extrem klein. Die Elektroinstallation eine Zumutung. Der Fernseher funktionierte auch nicht.
Unser Zimmer war zu einer sehr belebten lauten Straße hin.
Was man auf der Homepage sieht und liest stimmt mit der Wirklichkeit nicht überein.
