Clean..Good size room ..location ..Great facilities ..friendly staff.
Foyer was abit cold in the evening.
The location was handy for where we were visiting. The shower was nice and hot and good flow. The hotel itself was modern enough.
Some of the lights in the room didn't work. There was some rubbish under the bed from a previous customer's stay. Booking.com price was £80 and some change. We had an additional fee of £15 for the dog and £5 for parking which we were expecting and yet somehow our stay cost £130? Not sure why this was.

When we checked later he gave us free parking instead of £8.
Arrived 45mins before standard checkin and was just told to check in later. Then Tried to order a beer at the bar, and was told sorry I underage to serve, had to call somewhere over.
No biscuits in room
In morning no hot water, told sorry out of order. No compensation.
Had 2 coach parties in whilst we were staying and couldn't deal with it all. Breakfast warm not hot
Then went for swim, Jacuzzi was out of order.
For a 4* this is not good enough.

I liked the comfortable bed and the good quality pillows and linen. The bathroom was very well designed with plenty of surfaces to place toiletries, etc. We couldn’t get any hot water in the shower but didn’t worry too much as were only there for one night. I’m sure they’d have fixed it if we had mentioned it. The furniture was of good quality and it was a very comfortable room to stay in. Large TV with lots of channels to choose from. Breakfast was very good with plenty of choices if a little less hot than I’d have liked. The hot drinks machine was great. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. We liked the lounge/bar area where we sat and watched the news after breakfast with a final cup of coffee before leaving. A very good stay overall.
We couldn’t get hot water in the shower. I thought the outside areas looked a bit tired and unkempt although the birds and rabbits outside our room were delightful.

Real value for money on a weekday. Great price including breakfast which would have been very good had it not have gone a little cold. Not sure if this was because we were close to end of service or because of where we sat in the vicinity of the door being open and closed. Lovely size room with plenty of space and clean. Very obliging in that they let me leave my car for one extra night when I wasn't staying at the hotel for a mere £5!
Nothing really important, but would suggest better type of handles on the wardrobe doors as for someone not very nimble fingered due to arthritis, they were a little small and awkward.
