I won’t stay here again, Loud room and rude staff

Upon checking in they Informed me of 250 deposit for damages. I asked “that seems higher thane normal can I ask why ?” I was told
“You are in London I guess, I don’t know why “

The amenities and location of this facility are great.
Pros:

The room was very nice & clean. The pool area was great for the kids.
Arcade as a fun bonus
Staff were friendly & good. (but we didn't need them for anything)

Pros:

Place was very large, pool area was very nice for a cold winter day, mostly well laid out, the ice cream vendor on Friday night was a pleasant surprise

Cons:

Booked a king size bed, got a queen, asked front desk about it, said they renovated rooms and it was a Murphy bed, I didn't care what kind of bed it was, just wanted a king size bed, the one I had paid for. Upon check out, brought it up again, staff was not very apologetic and there was also 4 hockey teams there with children around 7 years old, running around. Our second room was given to us as "unique" bc it was between the doors to pool and door to hallway next to stairs, needless to say it was very loud until 11pm with doors banging and started again about 630am.

Wonderful stay in a beautiful, comfortable, modern property
Pros:

Beautiful facilities. Had a great room with a great view of the indoor pool and atrium...was like being south. A nice break from the snow outside!

Cons:

The restaurant was closed on Christmas eve. No suggestions for where I could get a meal. When I booked I, perhaps mistakenly assumed I could eat at the hotel as I am not familiar with the area and several nearby restaurants were also closed. I went to McDonalds which is far from my first choice

In all, it was a fun little get away.

We took our grand children there to enjoy the indoor pool. It was a little get away from the winter weather.
