Room was a little older but hard to tell unless you are super fussy.

Breakfast buffet was really good value and had a lot of good selections.
The bathroom could have used a bit of TLC but it wasn't that bad to be honest.
The staff were great, and good location. The restaurant downstairs was also lovely.
Air conditioning did not work, kept spitting out cold air, but the staff were nice enough to bring me a heater. The room could have also been cleaner and the hotel room overall was very old and dusty. The black walls were also depressing.

Near the botanic garden.
1. I booked 2 room and requested for high floor. Was assigned 1 room at top floor and 1 at lowest level which does not make sense since usually hotel will try to assign 2 room to be near each other.
2. The top floor room assigned came was faulty light and the room was so dark and the staff try to convince me it was normal and make you wonder if they are insulting your common sense. I had to request for 2 additional table lamp to make the room more visible.
3. Request to change room but was rejected as claim it was fully booked. Offered free cancellation and expect me to go find another place to stay and it was already after 6pm. Make you feel the hotel does not care about their guest at all.
4. Throughout the night, there is water dripping sound from roof but i did not bother to feedback since do not think the hotel care.
Very poor experience and am glad that i am only staying for 1 night.
Location is good, safe onsite parking.
Rooms are showing age and dark, furnishings are minimalist and old, cleaning in room was not of a high standard.
