Wonderful welcome from Jack front of house
Pros:

Front of house team member Jack, gave me a phenomenal welcome and reassured me that the team would look after me, hoped I would be comfortable here. He offered if I needed anything, to ring reception and ask for Jack and he would sort it.
This welcome made my stay. I stay in multiple hotels every week and this was an exceptional welcome. So much so, I was lecturing today to 70 business owners and leaders and I've told them all about Jack and the service at the Querns Hotel.

Great location and comfortable
Pros:

Great location and very comfortable and clean . The restaurant staff were so friendly and efficient, making us feel welcome

Cons:

The reception staff seemed preoccupied and not as welcoming and we would have liked. We app that they had had a busy week but as first point of contact they could have been friendlier

Overpriced for the room we had. Staff never even asked if we had enjoyed our stay on checking out.
Pros:

Room was pleasant, bed comfortable, very clean.

Cons:

Very noisy,had room at the side and the window didn’t shut properly so was extra noisy. has doubled in price from previous year and staff were less attentive.

The rooms are amazing, fully equipped for refreshments tea coffee water, soft drinks etc, bathroom are well stocked with towels, hand wash and washing materials, the beds are comfortable and are so big,

Absolutely perfect location plenty of bars and restaurants around, ideal location and close to the town hall if you are visiting to see a show. Definitely come back
