Breakfast want worth it for me I had 2 pieces of bacon and few beans I’m so fussy
The fact that they took £18 for overnight parking when we were staying at the hotel it didn’t say that online
Staff fantastic and well trained. Food good. A good traditional happy feel british hotel that shows real English eticate. Very good.
Only negative is £18 pounds parking for 1 night. We had book a full package b and b ,evening meal and spa ... Parking should have really been free for guests. It should have at least been only £5 pounds at most for guests having food and bed and breakfast.
Spacious and clean. Close proximity to my conference.
Nothing
Location good . Gym and facility s. Good ...
Doubles charged me . Paid more than anyone there for the room and still charged me 18 pound to park in a hotel I paid £232 to stay for one night ..I thought that was bit much . Other guest who stayed there to go to an army passing out parade
Were late coming back and was charged double parking for an extra hour
Poor showing I thought
Nice old building
The staff were shockingly rude, upon checking out they loaded me with a £18 parking charge for 12 hrs. When i contested this with the supervisor she smugly told me that if i didn’t pay it i would get a £100 fine and smiled. Even when i mentioned i had a disabled badge and needed to park at the hotel she said, “it makes no difference” utterly outraged!!
Food was really nice , spa was good
One reception staff off hand and unhelpful.. her colleague took over and was lovely very helpful and said our room was ready early and we could book in if we wanted to.
