Pleasant pub, friendly staff, bu the menu was limted, and rooms only reachable by a steep staircase.
Pros:

The shower was a good one. They did supply a chair when asked which helped.

Cons:

Small room, no table to use as a desk, and no chair to sit on, with the bed too high to sit on to dress, tea and coffee placed on a windowsill which was too high to use comfortably, and the stairs to the room were steep with a large tread. I had to cut my stay short because I found the stairs too difficult to cope with.

Perfect!
Pros:

Very friendly helpful staff. Lovely room, beautifully decorated and clean and tidy. Toiletries and towels in bathroom and a full tea/coffee tray with lovely biscuits and huge bottle of water in room. Beautiful location and very near venue we were attending a wedding at. Had a wonderful meal and breakfast.

totally stress free
Pros:

I stay as part of my work requirements - and as most of the time as a female on my own I always feel very safe and secure.
All the staff are above and beyond helpful and pleasant and the restaurante is lovely.

Beautiful
Pros:

Amazing history in the church and great walks in the countryside along the public footpaths. The hotel could provide a map as that would be an amazing selling point.

Cons:

The breakfast was closed on Monday and Tuesday which we knew beforehand. But the closest place is a drive away. A fridge would have been a good addition to store some sandwiches.

Quiet country location, friendly and helpful staff
Pros:

Quiet village location, close to where i needed to be, my stay was over two nights.
The room i had didnt have a desk, that would have been an advantage as i was travelling alone for work, very comfortable bed, incredible pillows, soft towels, ample storage for the length of my stay.

Good value for money with a comfortable bed and great facilities
Pros:

Friendly and welcoming pub with rooms. Very comfortable bed and tidy and clean room with large and modern bathroom. Good menu choice for supper - did not have breakfast.

Cons:

Restaurant service in the evening - the restaurant staff (one person it seemed) was a bit overrun but he tried his best and was apologetic

Enjoyable stay and good value.
Pros:

Good location, easy to find and nice quiet countryside setting. Staff efficient and friendly. Nice evening meal in restaurant. Good nights sleep on comfortable bed in a well decorated room. Everything we expected to be available was.

Cons:

Wasn't too keen on the coffee sachets in the room, very difficult to open and the coffee bag contents weren't to my taste.Apart from that everything was good.

The location was great for our visiting purpose. Very nice village.

Cons:

Unfortunately we found the breakfast a little to fancy and not to our liking. There seem to be no lighter choice of a continental style.

Apart from the cold it was a lovely stay.
Pros:

I only got breakfast on Saturday as I needed to go out on Sunday before 9 o clock.
Monday the restaurant closes so no breakfast is offered.

Cons:

The room was very cold all the time I was there think because the weather was cold they could have had some heating on.

Sadly, the restaurant and bar were closed, we didnt realise this when we booked our stay, so disappointing. There isn't any other resturant or pub nearby.

Last time i came down south I stayed at a travel lodge in a room twice as big and half the money
Pros:

I left as soon as i could

Cons:

The bed was big and the room was so small, not even a chair to sit on, the noise from the bar was very loud and my room lit up at 5am with the lamp post outside and the room needed a good clean and the blinds need to be thrown away and new ones put up
