Great room and service, clean and comfortable. Very friendly staff, making the stay easy and enjoyable with great vibes. I’ll definitely keep coming back.
All the staff have been great. Just to name a few whose names I remember: Edivaldo, Adam and Grace, thank you for contributing to such a great stay.

My stay at Holmes Hotel was excellent and truly 5-star worthy. The hotel is stylish, comfortable, and very well maintained.
A special thank you to Mery, who provided outstanding guest service, she was attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to make my stay memorable.
I would definitely recommend Holmes Hotel and look forward to returning
We usually stay at the botree hotel by Bond Street when we come to London but our last experience was not good so my husband suggested we try somewhere else and was that ever a good idea. First of all The Holmes Hotel is an even better location right next to the Baker Street Underground station. But what really made this hotel special is the employees. We were given a warm welcome by Hea and she even took the time to show us the hotel and explain everything. From then on every employee we met was helpful and friendly. They have drinks, sweets and apples in the lobby which we were grateful for after our long days. There was one night when the room was too hot but the team went out of the way to make sure we were comfortable. The manager Grace even checked on us personally the next day, her and her teams kindness and friendliness did not go unnoticed and we can't wait to come back.
Location
Service was young people which is fine but judgemental and condescending
The room was excellent. Very clean, comfortable and modern. The air conditioning was a little bit of an issue. There was no instructions and the room was a little hot. The staff in the reception were very helpful.
I felt the breakfast was a little overpriced.
Short but sweet stay in the holmes hotel. The staff were fantastic from the moment I arrived. The recpetion team were so helpful and friendly - they are the best I have come across - from the smallest requests to recommendations and transport assistance they helped me with everything. Made my trip so easy and relaxing. The room was comfortable but on the small side and the location is just the best.
We recently stayed at the Holmes Hotel in London to celebrate my birthday, and I can honestly say it was one of the most memorable hotel experiences we’ve ever had.
My husband had organised a full surprise for me, and the staff handled everything perfectly while keeping it completely under wraps. A special thank you to Ria and Hea on reception, who went above and beyond to help him plan every detail without giving anything away. From arranging a beautiful birthday cake and balloons in our room, to making sure our surprise guests were placed on a different floor so I wouldn’t bump into them, everything was executed flawlessly.
Before dinner, we had champagne drinks at the hotel, and the staff were incredibly attentive and made the whole group feel really well looked after. All of our guests commented on how much they loved the hotel and their rooms, and breakfast the next morning was just as impressive.
What makes this stay even more special is how we discovered the hotel. My husband and I usually stay at another hotel nearby, but about a month ago we called into the Holmes Hotel for a pre-dinner drink. The Brazilian barman was so warm and friendly, and we were struck by how lovely the bar is. It has a great atmosphere, comfortable seating, and you can actually have a conversation without shouting, which is rare. There’s a real buzz about the place.
The next day, my husband cancelled the five rooms he had booked elsewhere and moved everything to the Holmes Hotel. It turned out to be the best decision he could have made.
We're back next week and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this hotel for a special occasion or just a really enjoyable stay in London.
Great stay, lovely and spacious room, nice restaurant and lobby-area. And very helpful staff. Really recommend this hotel, and hope to be back!
From the moment we arrived we were made to feel very welcome, all the team members were friendly and helpful. Special mention must be made of Elenor, Yusef and Ria, all new to the Holmes but carrying on the traditions that make it such a wonderful place to stay. Last but most certainly not least, Costos, who can best be described as a grand ambassador for the last twenty years, making evey one comfortable and cared for. We have been guests at the Holmes for fifteen years, staying several times each year, partialy due to Costos' presence.
There where many other members of your team who all lived up to your standards of hospitality whose names we did not catch.
Dining at the Holmes is always a pleasure and, as usual the the accomodations and public areas are beautifully decorated and quirky.
We were part of a Rick Steve’s tour in April and booked a couple of nights extra. The hotel is very nice with lots of communal places to sit, even a nice area for kids to play. The theme is Sherlock Holms and there are fun touches of decor everywhere. The room was very clean and the beds comfortable and quiet. We had monkfish one night at the restaurant and it was very good. It is also located very near the underground, just a few minutes walk to the Baker Street station. We would stay here again.
Good sized room. Very clean and great shower. Very comfortable and quiet. The location was excellent for us and we liked the area around Baker Street. Breakfast was excellent.
Nothing - the hotel was great.
Location - it’s was very modern and clean
Soggy toast for breakfast …
What a gem! Friends had recommended The Holmes Hotel to us after their fabulous experience and I'm so glad they did. Special shout out to GLEN, KOSTAS & RYESHIA for going absolutely above and beyond to help make our family's stay (and first trip to London!) so wonderfully memorable. My husband, children & I all agree that our very favorite meal in London was the roast at The Kitchen at Holmes (the on property restaurant). Not only was it delicious but it really was a perfect, festive experience due to the special efforts of Glen, Kostas & Ryeshia. As a family, we also really appreciated how thoughtfully planned the hotel activities were for the kiddos and we absolutely loved the games and puzzles that were always available in the main level parlour/sitting room to enjoy after a day of sightseeing. The hotel location, within the lovely village streets of Marylebone, is ideal too- a peaceful respite from all the hustle and bustle while still being in the heart of the city. My family and I look forward to making this hotel our "Holmes away from home" whenever we return to London.
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Holmes Hotel. It's positioned in a quiet road in Marylebone, just 3 minutes away from the entrance to Bakerloo tube station. The Wallace Collection and ghe Wigmore Hall are within easy walking distance, and the little streets of Marylebone have a villagey feel to them, with lots of independent shops and places to eat. My room was spotlessly clean with everything I needed, and all the staff I met were uniformly cheerful, courteous and helpful. I would certainly stay again.
