Very handy pleasant hotel
Pros:

I liked the hotel. Lovely building, fantastic position. Very Clean, very comfortable bed, great bathroom- big bath and good shower. Liked the shower gels and shampoos.
The staff were very polite friendly and good.

Cons:

A/c wasn’t working but had a fan. Very handy for the train. Breakfast let this down. Everything had that hanging about a while taste and texture. Black pudding not nice. Tables weren't cleaned quickly enough. I did like this hotel but the breakfast let it down.

Gute Lage, Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis fragwürdig
Pros:

Die Lage war ausgezeichnet, auch wenn sich derzeit der George Square in Umbaumaßnehmen befindet. Alles fussläufig und der Bahnhof Queen Street war in 3 Minuten zu erreichen.

Cons:

Unser Zimmer wirkte etwas heruntergekommen, zumindest auf das Preis-Leistung-Verhältnis bezogen.

Pros:

Very close to transport hubs and food outlets..,..had an upgrade on room and enjoyed spacious en suite etc.

Cons:

No restaurant on site although breakfast room was fine.

Disgusting Hotel Millennium
Pros:

This hotel is rated as 4 star.
What a false rating, the only thing going for this hotel is its location in the centre of George Square.

We arrived in the middle of the heatwave, no air conditioning and a room with two very narrow windows which were almost impossible to open and one that had to be propped open using a toilet roll. The dressing table chair was disgustingly filthy, ripped and there was only one place suitable for it, the skip.

The carpet was absolutely filthy as my white socks would confirm. The windows were rotting and the room and ensuite looked and smelled like it hadn’t been decorated in decades.

The beer on tap was red hot and I am still waiting for a refund. Staff were unhelpful which isn’t surprising since they are working in the most disgusting hotel I’ve ever stayed in.

Avoid like the plague. Terrible, zero stars.
