Christmas in Grindelwald @ Hotel Belvedere
Pros:

We have stayed here on several occasions. We love it.
Rooms very comfortable, food excellent and as always staff cannot be more helpful (even when under Christmas pressure!).
We noticed some changes which show that the hotel wants to remain a top destination.
The town itself seemed more crowded than normal.

Friendliest Hotel
Pros:

Yet another wonderful winter break at the Belvedere. Our Classic Eiger View Room was just that, with a huge picture window overlooking the mountain panorama and the train chugging up the hill to the glaciers and hiking paths. All the staff went out of their way to make us welcome and we lost count of the number of times they wished Barry a happy birthday! The hotel has great facilities including an indoor pool and outdoor hot tub under the stars. Excellent situation, 3 minute walk to the train station with all connections to the mountain railways and cable cars.
We should mention that on our final day we were stuck up the mountain as a result of a violent snow storm. When the train finally came down we were stranded at a different station and the hotel kindly saved us by sending their car to pick us up. What a great service!
A big thanks to all at the Belvedere.

Wonderful hotel in a stunning location.
Pros:

We stayed at Hotel Belvedere with Inghams Ski for a week. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and the levels of service really very high. The food was excellent and met our special dietary requirements, though we couldn't really do justice to four courses every evening. The room was beautiful, spacious and warm - the perfect place to return to after a day on the slopes. The shuttle to First and Terminal was good; and the views, from the restaurant and our room, absolutely world class.

Made my ski vacation perfect
Pros:

My stay far exceeded my expectations. Room was spacious, clean, and comfortable an even though I didn’t opt for the view side of the hotel, my view was still enjoyable and the balcony had a breathtaking view of nearby peaks. The service, especially the front desk team was exceptional. They handled lift tickets, reservation changes, and a host of questions with friendly competence. Restaurant was good also but book ahead if you want to enjoy the Michelin-starred 1910. Finally, location was ideal for walking, railroad, and bus line to lifts and complimentary shuttle to lifts is provided as well. I look forward to a return trip in the summer!
