We had such a wonderful stay! The room was sparkling clean, the views unbeatable (best views of the Eiger and valley in our opinion!), cozy spa, and exceptional guest services. When we noted the bed felt a little firm in passing, we were immediately offered an extra foam topper for comfort and to have house keeping flip the mattress to the softer side. Fred at reception gave us phenomenal recommendations for a local walk and picnic that became the highlight of our trip. Thank you!!

The hotel is located in the center of town. Minutes from the train Station and close to the center of town.
The view from the hotel is breathtaking and the Alps and the Eiger at their head unfold before the eyes of those staying at the hotel. The view of the green valley are also amazing in their beauty.
The hotel is located a 5-10 minute walk from the base of the cable cars leading to the main attraction in the area - Top of Europe.
The distance to the second attraction - Grindelwald First is also not great, and a 5-10 minute walk also brings you to the base of the cable cars.
The room was spacious and clean.
The hotel staff helps with any problem and is willing to give advice to any traveler with a recommendation on the best way to make the most of their time in the area.
There is parking at the hotel and as I remember it was free of charge.

Our stay at the Belvedere Swiss Quality Hotel in Grindelwald was absolutely wonderful and easily one of the highlights of our trip to Switzerland.
From the moment we arrived, the hospitality stood out. We were greeted with welcome drinks, which was such a thoughtful touch after traveling, and the staff made us feel genuinely welcome throughout our entire stay.
The service was exceptional. Everyone we interacted with was warm, attentive and incredibly helpful. It felt personal rather than simply professional, and that level of hospitality made such a difference when traveling as a family.
And then there are the views ……..absolutely unmatched. Waking up to the mountains every morning honestly didn’t feel real. The scenery from the hotel is breathtaking, and it was one of those places where you find yourself just stopping to take it all in.
The location was also perfect for exploring Grindelwald and the surrounding area, while still feeling peaceful and relaxing when we returned to the hotel.
Our entire family loved our stay. Between the spectacular mountain views, wonderful service, welcoming atmosphere and thoughtful touches like the welcome drinks, the Belvedere delivered exactly what you hope for from a special hotel in the Swiss Alps.
If we return to Grindelwald, there is no question where we will stay. We would come back to the Belvedere in a heartbeat. Highly recommend!
We had a great stay for 3 nights. We had a family room, 2 adults and 2 kids including one baby. My daughter slept on the sofa bed and my son slept with us together. The beds are so comfortable. Room is very clean. The best part is the amazing view from our private balcony - it’s incredible! And the location is so convenient, 2 mins walk to the train station. We had a wonderful time there. Will recommend this hotel to everyone .

Our stay here was wonderful! When you arrive the front desk staff is welcoming and wanting to help in every way possible. The hotel is clean and the room amenities make it comfortable. The food in the restaurant is excellent and the wait staff there goes above and beyond. We especially enjoyed our waiter Felix. Teddy, the piano player in the restaurant, provides such wonderful music as you enjoy your meal. Each staff member enhances your stay. We will definitely miss the people here and appreciate the fine service we received.

perfect location and magnificent valley views from the terrace/dining area. Staff tries their best to accommodate requests.
Busy large family-stay hotel. The room was adjacent to a room that can be interconnected if staying with large families, but the wall/door that serves to interconnect and can be opened is flimsy and not floor to ceiling, leaving lights and conversation from the other room to be right there.. as if within your own room. With small children next door that are busy and chatty that was a bit much and a real downer for a pricey hotel.
