Pros:

Ron at the Check in was an amazing person professional friendly courteous and above all extremely efficient !!!

Cons:

No slippers in the room... kettle had a lot of scaling inside... 2 cans of water kept in the room were not marked if that was complementary or with a charge... & most importantly the air-conditioning was not effective considering the heatwave.....

Pros:

Great location easy walking to shops and restaurants. Room size was good for a city centre hotel. Parking is extra at £18 a day.

Cons:

They made a mistake and double charged for our dog but corrected this straight away after we queried the charge.

It was a welcome break the only downside was the tremendous hot weather
Pros:

Room was what we expected shower was great no problem with water. Breakfast had a very good choice selection and considering alterations taking place everything was great. This location was great for us stayed here last year. The air conditioning in the room was a blessing especially as it was so hot.

Cons:

We had a mix up with servicing the room, although it was sorted it lost us 2 hours of planed timing, having stayed for 5 nights it was our last night,

Extremely disappointing for the price.
Pros:

The one bright spot was Ron on the front desk. He was fantastic, gave us a brilliant rundown of the city and was genuinely warm and helpful throughout. For the price, a Premier Inn would have delivered twice the quality at a third of the cost. Can’t recommend this stay.

Cons:

Very disappointed with this stay, especially considering the price. We paid a premium expecting air conditioned comfort, but the room sat at 28 degrees plus overnight with no working aircon. To make things worse, housekeeping actually turned our aircon off at one point, letting the room heat up further in the sun.
The phone in the room didn’t work, so we couldn’t reach housekeeping directly. We’d requested no decaf coffee, but that request was ignored and we ended up with more decaf than before.
The bed was the most uncomfortable I’ve slept on at any hotel, and the pillow was old and lumpy. Towels were average at best. The shower was tiny with an ultra low flow head, which didn’t help after a hot, sleepless night.
The restaurant was under renovation, so breakfast was moved to a conference room. That part we understood, but the food itself was genuinely poor. We ended up cancelling breakfast for the rest of our stay.

Nice hotel, excellent location.
Pros:

Short stay at this hotel recently while visiting family in the UK. Very clean and very central location. Room was spotless clean and very comfortable bed and duvet. No shower cap provided. Breakfast was nice. I want to mention a staff member called Hatty.. she's a very nice girl and checked to see if we were ok on both mornings. Also Mateo, Harry and Ewen. Reception were very nice and efficient too, we chatted to Vedant and Hasan. Hope to stay here again on next visit. Thank you!

Considering the brand and the price I would expect better. I enjoyed the location though.
Pros:

Great location and friendly staff

Cons:

Noise in the room when person in the next room had a shower. I moved rooms.
The showers were cold the first morning but ok after I moved.

Comfortable room and clean. Poor breakfast experience and lifts are like shoe boxes.
Pros:

Room clean, good location.

Cons:

Breakfast was rushed and felt like we were squeezed in. Room was fine but feel we have stayed in better places in the past- this was our first Hilton stay - the lifts could fit 3 people comfortably but everyone squeezed in and there were only two. Not great!
