They need a new front desk guy. I think he was the owner. If he was he does not ne to work at the front desk. He is horr

The location was ok.

Cons:

When I got there the guy at the desk was on the phone. Instead of getting off the phone or placing the call on hold he wrote on a piece of paper for me to write down my number while continuing his call. Told him I’ll wait and he still tapped the paper for me to write my number down. I left and was gone for 15 minutes and came back and he was still on the phone. I told him cancel the room and refund me. While still on the phone told me he could not do a refund. It was to late. He got me my stuff all the while still talking on the phone. I got up to the room and it was clean from just looking but once I got to the bathroom I can tell they didn’t do a good job. Trash was still in the trash can and hair was in the shower. Went to tell him and he sent someone to clean the room being that they didn’t have any other rooms. He didn’t offer a refund or even giving a discount on another room at a later date.

Would not recommend. The worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. I feel bad for writing this review because the staff were so great and friendly. However, the rooms all smelled of mold terribly. Moved rooms 3x since I’m allergic to mold and it was so unbearable over the room I couldn’t stay. Finally just gave up on the third room when I realized they all smelled like that.

The cleanliness level is also not good. Found a bunch of fuzzes and little hairs throughout our bed. As soon as I checked out I couldn’t wait to leave. The staff deserve a 5 star review unfortunately circumstances didn’t match. Especially, the man at the front desk he was amazing.

Every member of the Best Western team at this location was warm and welcoming. Dev and Danny went above and beyond to make certain our stay was extremely comfortable.

We stayed at Best Western Patriots Point every year we went on vacation and used to love it. It is now under new owner/management and the place is gone downhill. The hallways had strong smoke smell ( it’s supposed to be no smoking) the bathrooms were not cleaned properly and had stains. The coffee maker was missing the tray to put your coffee powder. We spent more time out to avoid being in the room. I will not stay there again.

That mattress is terrible. Zero support. But hey, it checked the box. Pillow are terrible...again checked the box. Zero comfort.

Awesome!!!!
Pros:

The entire staff was wonderful. They always wanted you to fee comfortable all the time and they were so accommodating. The location is in the middle so it was close to downtown as well as a 20 minute or so ride to the beach. There are several beaches to choose from to. I would definitely stay at this hotel again when we visit Charleston, SC.

Cons:

The only negative thing was that the toilet was a little too close to the counter so the lid did not stay up. That was the only negative comment.
