Categories

Cleanliness
7.8
Mixed: many guests report spotless and very clean rooms, but there are repeated reports of missed room cleaning, one comment about visible dirt and an alarming found notebook page from a previous occupant.
Service
9
Generally strong front-desk service with several mentions of friendly/helpful staff; however breakfast staff were described as rude by some guests, creating a mixed service impression overall.
Location
9.4
Consistently praised: excellent location for UCD, good access to transport (DART/bus), near the sea and convenient for exploring Dublin.
Room Quality
8.7
Rooms commonly described as modern, comfortable and spacious with super-comfy beds; a few specific issues noted (wobbly bed legs, missing fridge, bedding/duvet preferences).
Amenities
8.1
Basic amenities (kettle, welcome items) present and some praise for facilities; negatives include paid parking for many, missing shower cap/fridge in some rooms and occasional shortages.
Value for Money
9.2
Frequently described as very good value and great for the price; a minority felt the room facilities made the price seem somewhat high.
Food and Beverage
7.9
Mixed breakfast feedback: several guests enjoyed a lovely breakfast, but multiple reports of poor quality (cold buffet, items run out) and rude breakfast staff reduce the score.
Overall Experience
8.7
Overall positive stays driven by location, comfortable rooms and helpful front desk, tempered by inconsistent housekeeping and variable breakfast/service experiences.

A little gem.
Pros:

Excellent location with good public transport links. Warm friendly staff. Triple room was a good size for 3 adults. The beds and pillows were amazing, so much so I've tracked down the pillow suppliers and have purchased some for myself!

Cons:

Nothing.

Dublin
Pros:
