Dreadful
Cons:

No air con. A fan blowing hot air around. It was boiling in the room. We had no cold water from the small tap - it was luke warm.

It was ok but I would not return.
Pros:

The location was very good.

Cons:

The staff were friendly however the check in process was very slow. The room was clean but basic. The bed was ok but the pillows were awful, like rocks. The communal area of the hotel were very dated and dirty in places. There were no signs/directions for the underground carpark.

Brighton is great and the hotel is located on the front close to the town centre (15 min walk).
Cons:

There was no air conditioning which was advertised. Received an email after booking that there may be some temporary interruptions with the air con. Four days in a heat wave with absolutely no air con. The hotel provided fans but that only stirred the hot air in the rooms.

We always come here as the location is great as my husband is a local

Cons:

The air conditioning wasn’t working and we did not see any activity on fixing it? There was a fan in the room and I took my own battery operated fan we are in a heatwave now

Pleasant stay.
Pros:

Good location for our stay

Cons:

Expensive as we went to a concert so prices higher, no air conditioning which we were warned about after booking, noisy fan blew warm air around and didn’t help.
Reception staff seemed to be confused with a new computer system which left us waiting around a bit more than we would’ve liked.

Room for improvement
Pros:

The location, the large room and large bed .Seafront with balcony mainly very friendly staff

Cons:

The room balcony was dirty with gull mess!The balcony’s need moping.
The room was also very warm as the air con wasn’t up and running.
The restaurant area is sub standard with filthy tables . Given that there is rarely anyone on there, this is unexceptable.
The food on offer in the restaurant area is VERY VERY limited.The inability to purchase food from 7 in the morning till late evening is ,in my opinion, ridiculous sending guests to source food elsewhere.
This is shocking business practice. The inn was full of more mature clientele .. they don’t always want to walk about looking for food particularly when it’s so hot
The sports bar menu was not for us.
Let’s move on to the out door space.

Filthy dirty( hosing it every morning may help)
Tables FILTHY. Glasses and mugs left out all day and night ( it wasn’t busy so what’s the excuse)
No ashtrays on the table ( was told this is a smoking area)
No parasols up either and we are in a heat wave.
Arrived Monday left Thursday … What is going on outside? Mess the whole time

Staff ,mainly lovely but ,the cleaning of outdoor space and rooms with balconies needs serious attention

Overall good
Pros:

The room size & view was very good. The Front desk Manager compensated us with a 30% discount on the room rate due to the AC malfunction

Cons:

I booked a room with air condition when I arrived there was no AC and it is summer with weather temperature around 28-30 very hot. The most important thing is that I didn't receive any information that they have a major problem in the AC and it won't be solved until September

Hot, not what I booked, not accommodating
Pros:

Tired. Basic. AC supposedly “intermittently not working” - there was simply zero AC due to works. I was also given an assisted room. This was not made clear and staff would not change it despite me checking in very early, and waiting for a normal room. Poor

Warm, goede ligging, vriendelijk personeel
Pros:

Vriendelijk personeel, de ondergrondse parkeergarage, perfecte ligging om langs strand te lopen en lekker ontbijt

Cons:

De airco was in onderhoud dat wisten we. Er was gezegd de ramen kunne open. Ja 4 cm! Dat wordt niet koud met een raam en dan wordt je ook nog om 6:00 wakker van de vuilniswagen precies bij de containers onder je raam. Verder hadden we douche in bad en dat was niet volgens foto. We hadden wel twee ventilatoren.

Room was a very good size and had a great view of the beach.

Cons:

Unfortunately during our stay their AC wasn't working the whole weekend. They kindly didn't charge me the parking fee because the inconvenience. I would have appreciated if they had informed me earlier of the situation. Fan was provided but you can barely feel the wind.
