Econo Lodge Inn & Suites Fulton - Rockport

Where to start? The room booked had mold and smelled like mold. It was not very clean either. The bathroom door wouldn't shut. When we went to let them know, the lady at the reception went to check it and said there was no mold, just a "dirty" ceiling. We showed her a video and pictures of room 121 with visible mold. We asked for a refund so we could stay somewhere else with our kids, one of whom has asthma. She told us we had to call Booking to get it. We told her we were going to report them because that was unacceptable. While we were calling, she then offered us an "upgrade." She offered us the "suite" at no cost. That room was slightly bigger, with a strong paint and Clorox smell, but we didn't see any visible mold. It was decent. The TV never worked. We called, but there was no staff on weekends to fix it. The toilet flushed sometimes. There were only 2 towels. There's also no housekeeping during the weekends, so we had to go to the office to get more. The walls are thin too, so you can hear everything. We stayed, but will never again. Breakfast was the only thing that was decent in that place. If you are planning to stay here with your small kids, please, DON'T. Motel 6 would be way better than this place. I'm pretty sure they went and painted that ceiling to hide the mold.

Not guaranteed to be ready at check 3PM even if we reserved online weeks ahead. She left my family with no room for the night ( A mother , Father, 3 children). There were no other rooms in Rockport that were vacant.We asked would the pool be open upon arrival we were told yes. Once we got in the pool after seeing a little boy in the pool for several minute before we joined, the staff came and made us get out of the pool with our young children. My children have never experienced this type of discrimination, why was the others allowed to swim but not us. This was a planned vacation for my son’s 16th party and the stay here was horrible!! I will never stay at this hotel again.

Clean convenient and like the pool

Bed was squeaky

Poorly maintained. Shabby looking. The “breakfast” was skimpy and unappealing. The TV didn’t work, no hairdryer.

The musky odor.

Our door did not have a top lock. Looked like it had been kicked in. The door didn't even close all the way so every sound traveled. Did not feel safe.

Old hotel... bad maintained.. not enough towels in room.. poor breakfast... humedity smell.. old drapes in window hanging and in bad shape..Hotel needs attention!.

Our stay was very disappointing. The AC unit was leaking water everywhere, which made the room uncomfortable and concerning. The pull-out sofa was absolutely disgusting, covered in large brown stains that made it unusable.

We also did not realize we were being placed in a Jack-and-Jill style room with connecting doors to the neighboring room. We specifically did not want that type of setup, and unfortunately the neighbors were very loud, making it difficult to relax or get a good night’s sleep.

Overall, the cleanliness, maintenance issues, and noise made for a poor experience, and I would not choose to stay here again.

More options for weekday breakfast.

The facility cleanliness was horrible..inside the rooms the floors were dirty and we found roaches..the kitchen down stairs was nasty..outside the facility trash and cigarettes..I believe we over paid for the whole stay experience..management needs to work on a cleaner facility

The pictures on this websites need to be seriously updated! Let’s just say this is a roach motel. Don’t let the pics fool you! If my family and I could fit we would have slept in our car! After seeing roaches we woke to the hotel front desk lady who said after an hr of being checked in there is NOTHING she could do.
