Spotless Rooms, Freezing Nights — and a Manager Who Didn’t Care

When it comes to location and cleanliness, this place is truly superb. It’s just minutes from the beach, and the housekeeping team deserves real recognition—consistently pleasant, responsive, and genuinely kind.

Cons:

Unfortunately, one major issue overshadowed everything: there is no heat in the rooms. Every other hotel we stayed at in Florida had a unit that included both A/C and heat, so we never expected to be facing cold indoor temperatures. But during our stay, nights dropped into the 30s, and our room became unbearably cold 44° (according to my travel alarm with room temperature reader) worse by a significant draft coming through gaps around the door.
On January 28 at noon, I went to the manager’s office to ask a simple, reasonable question: Do you have any space heaters? The manager with short hair was shockingly dismissive and rude. Her response was a bitter, clipped: “This is Florida.” No empathy, just attitude. She said she would bring an extra blanket. I politely asked for two, since there are three of us sharing two beds. She rolled her eyes and didn’t even respond.
And then… she never brought the blankets. Not that day. Not at all.

My mother is 77 years old, and she truly cannot tolerate sleeping in that kind of cold safely. So we were left with no choice but to spend our own money on a space heater just so my elderly mother wouldn’t be forced to sleep in freezing conditions. That’s not a “minor inconvenience.” That’s a basic safety issue—and the lack of care from that particular manager made it feel even worse.
To be fair, the other manager—a woman with long dark hair—was exceptionally kind and professional.

Cons:

Rummet stank av stark rengöringsmedel, duschen var inte bra, dörren till rummet kändes som att den skulle ramla in nästan. Hade högre förväntningar eftersom betygen var så höga, vet att det inte är hög klassning på hotellet.
