Le Grey Hotel

We liked everything about the hotel. The staff, the convenience, the location, and just the feeling of really having access to everything and it being a central point for us. Will return for sure.

Many cafes and stores within walking distance. Easy access to several Metro stops which was very convenient. The desk staff was super helpful though the cleaning person unplugged my stuff and replaced towels even when I didn’t request new towels (by leaving them on the floor)

Front desk staff Maria was very friendly and helpful. We needed to move from the 5th fl to the 2nd fl due to no cold water on the whole 5th floor on our 2nd day. Maria was able to move us to the same kind of the room we had reserved. AC didn't work at both rooms, temperture stayed the same no matter how high we changed it to. There was a hallow aera on the one side of the mattress at our 2nd room. My husband managed to stay away from that area but still not comfortable.

Smaller hotel but everything was perfect for my stay. I got a great deal on a Suite and it was perfect! I was surprised by the size of the room, and loved the amenities. I did not have breakfast at the hotel because I woke to the smell of an amazing bakery right next door. I will be back!

It’s a nice hotel but I should have done more homework. If you are a family coming to see Louvre and Eiffel Tower is about a 25 min Uber ride. Also if you are used to Hilton or Marriott’s, this is not the place for you. Upon first arrival, I noticed graffiti on one or two buildings viewable from the hotel….i questioned the safety….but after staying for a few nights, fortunately had no issues and many people out at the restaurants etc at night.

If I could do it over again, I would have stayed closer and at a property I know better

I am writing to formally express our concerns regarding our recent stay at Le Grey Hotel from July 26 to July 31, 2025, in rooms 33 and 34. While we were initially excited about our stay at your esteemed four-star boutique hotel, unfortunately, several unresolved issues significantly impacted our comfort and overall experience.

Room 33 – Air Conditioning and Ventilation Issues

The air conditioning unit in Room 33 was non-functional throughout the entire stay, which made the room extremely uncomfortable, especially given the summer temperatures. In addition, the washroom ventilation system was also not operational, resulting in excessive humidity and stale air, making it difficult to breathe and relax in the space.

Moreover, for two consecutive days, there was a strong foul odor emanating from the washroom area. We are unsure whether it originated from the drain or another source, but it was very unpleasant.

Room 34 – Inadequate Cooling

Room 34 had limited cool air output, which made it uncomfortable for the guests staying there as well. Although it was slightly better than Room 33, the temperature was still far from acceptable for a room advertised as air-conditioned.

Response and Follow-Up

We raised these issues daily with the hotel staff, who assured us that someone was working on resolving them. We were informed at one point that the air conditioning was out of gas; however, no permanent fix was made during our entire stay. Only on the last night were we provided wi

The staff is very accommodating. The area is quiet and safe. The restaurants and shops are all walking distance.

The staff were amazingly helpful and friendly. Our room was beautiful, clean and very comfortable. The hotel is close to Moulon Rouge, bus and subway, and restaurant options. A lovely breakfast was included (eggs, bacon, pastries, fruit, cereal, meats and cheeses). A real gem.

Staff was very nice. A great location with an amazing Korean BBQ place close. Make a reservation.

This hotel is a fantastic choice for visitors—immaculately maintained with beautifully designed rooms and a modern, spacious bathroom that truly stood out. The comfort level was excellent, and the amenities exceeded our expectations. A special mention to the front desk staff: warm, welcoming, and always ready to help with a smile. The air did not work very well and it looked to be a moisture problem in the bathroom.
