Allereerst een mooi aanblik van het hotel en vriendelijk personeel.
De kamer (253) was erg netjes met fijne bedden en compacte maar volledige badkamer.
Het ontbijt was super. Veel keuze en erg lekker.

Prima verblijf, maar toch niet passend bij de reputatie

De locatie is natuurlijk iconisch en je bent binnen no-time op het strand. We hadden vanuit onze kamer uitzicht op de pier en het gebouw is imposant. De kamer was netjes en schoon. Ook bij het ontbijt ontbreekt het je aan niets. Het is leuk om eens op zo'n beroemde plek te slapen.

Cons:

Als je verwachting niet te hoog is, heb je hier een prima verblijf. Toch voelt het als een gemiste kans dat er in de ontvangst/communicatie niets van de oude sjeu overeind blijft. De behandeling door het Engelstalige personeel is even onpersoonlijk als je van grote hotelketens gewend bent. De kamer was wat verouderd en de twinbeds veel te zacht (het was niet gelukt om ons een kamer met tweepersoonsbed te geven). Een van de liften leek niet goed te werken en de lift die er was stopte continu op elke verdieping, waardoor we 's ochtends zonder overdrijven een kwartier hebben gewacht om bij onze kamer te komen (door mijn zwangerschap kon ik niet met de trap naar de vierde verdieping). Bij het ontbijt stond er een compleet andere naam achter ons kamernummer. Het zijn allemaal kleine dingen, die me anders misschien minder op waren gevallen, maar door de reputatie van het Kurhaus verwacht je toch iets anders.

Gutes Frühstück, freundliches Personal und tolle Lage – der Zustand des Zimmers wird dem Anspruch und Preisniveau eines

Das Frühstück war sehr gut und umfangreich. Verschiedene Eierspeisen wurden auf Wunsch frisch zubereitet, die Getränkeauswahl war groß und auch der Service beim Frühstück war freundlich und aufmerksam. Das Personal haben wir insgesamt als engagiert erlebt. Auch die Lage und der Meerblick sind sehr schön. Check-in und Check-out verliefen problemlos.

Cons:

Für ein 5-Sterne-Hotel in dieser Preisklasse haben wir beim Zustand des Zimmers deutlich mehr erwartet. Bei unserer Ankunft befand sich noch Toilettenpapier in der Toilette, der Badewannenabfluss funktionierte nicht richtig, Silikonfugen wirkten teilweise verschmutzt, ein Griff im Badezimmer war locker und einige Seifen- bzw. Pflegespender waren leer. Auch die Temperaturbegrenzung der Armatur funktionierte nicht zuverlässig. Uns wurde eine Doppelkontrolle der Zimmerreinigung genannt, bei der Anzahl der Mängel können wir jedoch nur schwer nachvollziehen, wie diese durchgeführt wurde. Insgesamt hatten wir teilweise den Eindruck, dass das Hotel mit seiner Größe und den Abläufen überfordert ist. Das Haus wirkt an einigen Stellen deutlich in die Jahre gekommen und eine Renovierung wäre aus unserer Sicht notwendig.

Super emplacement, en bord de mer, personnel serviable et agréable.
Propreté parfaite, chambre spacieuse et matelas confortable, SDB un peu petite, balcon vue sur mer top.
Petite attention pour mon anniversaire et carte.
Petit bémol mais pas la faute de l hôtel, les mouettes font cacas partout et à la terrasse du petit déjeuner foncent sur les assiettes, nous en avons bien rigolé et sommes rentrés à l intérieur pour prendre notre petit déjeuner gargantuesque.
Bref, Génial, je recommande.

Le prix du parking de l hôtel est excessif, annoncé 39 € du lundi jusqu'au jeudi et on m a fait payer 49€ ( prix du vendredi au dimanche)alors que nous étions un jeudi, je l'ai fait remarquer à la réception et la personne m a répondu que j étais la première cliente à faire la remarque( alors que indiqué noir sur blanc sur un document qu elle venait de me remettre), ce n est pas très professionnel !
Il aurait été justifié de m appliquer le prix indiqué.

D autant plus que sur booking, il est annoncé qu il y a un parking mais pas mentionné que payant!
