Pros:

I asked to be on the bottom floor because I cannot climb stairs and they were happy to accommodate me. The broom in the room was a huge convenience for keeping the floor clean from sand. The proximity to the pier and having beach access nearby was very convenient. Over all it was great stay. This is my 2nd time there and I would definitely stay again.

Cons:

I wish the WiFi had a stronger connection because I couldn't watch movies from my streaming apps.

Pros:

Location is great. Everything is walking distance. Staff was very nice. Room was comfortable. Parking was easy.

Pros:

Location is great.

Cons:

Room felt dingy and not clean. Just felt a little icky. The bar of hand soap was greasy and felt cheap. The furniture was sticky and scratched and beat up. Could use an updating.

Great stay at a great place
Pros:

its in a wonderful location. right on t he beach but just far enough from the busy part of town. Pet friendly property. Staff is super friendly.

Cons:

Upstairs neighbors were loud but that's not the property's fault.

Pros:

I loved the closeness to the beach and downtown Pismo area. We were able to pretty much walk anywhere we wanted to go. That made it very convenient since parking in Pismo can be a nightmare. We were lucky enough to get a room with an ocean view which was fantastic. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The bed was very comfortable and I felt safe staying there as a single woman.

Cons:

The Edgewater is an older hotel that could use some redecorating and restoration. Compared to other motels/hotels in the area it is looking a little worn. The floor in our room was warped and our closet door was hard to open. There were plenty of outlets, but the one I needed by the bed was covered by the headboard that was screwed into the wall. Luckily I have a long cord for my medical equipment and was able to use a different outlet. There was nothing really that I didn't like, it just needed some TLC.

Close to water. Staff is nice

Cons:

Very loud..building is hollow and you hear every step and door close..had drunks fighting in room next to me and staff scared to say anything so I had to myself.
