Took $50 deposit …. and they never deposited it back to my account* never had issues with any other stays at Pismo. All other facilities reimbursed as soon as I checked out* past 10 business days and called they staff don’t care* The staff was unpleasant made me and my family feel unwelcomed* NEVER WILL GO BACK

Staff** unpleasant *** not welcoming *** made you feel uncomfortable when you came down for breakfast…….. always starring *** never again

Pros:

Proximity to beach and restaurants, spacious room, comfortable beds, balcony for fresh air.

Cons:

Visible mold in bathroom and other areas. Walls very thin so did not sleep well even with earplugs. Breakfast free so a bonus but just whole (fresh?) fruit, and packaged pastry. Maybe other things we may have missed.

I literally walked two minutes to the beach!!!!

The ceilings and walls are paper thin, you can hear everyone walking above your head and talking in the room next door or in the hallway.

Kid and pet friendly if that is what you are looking for
Cons:

Well.... here goes
It is a very family/pet friendly environment . so you have dogs barking.... kids running and crying... The noise above was was nonstop with kids running around in the room. the walls are so thin the next door neighbor was clearly heard.
I don't think I would use this place again. I will look for something more quiet and peaceful.

Location and staff.

Cons:

Given room on second floor before finding out elevator was broken. No fun hauling suitcases up concrete stairway at 77 years old. Room has a dinky balcony, but wasn't accessible as sliding door was broken and off track.

Great location and very friendly and accommodating staff. Every one was very kind and made it a very enjoyable experience
