Checked into a Dirty Room
Pros:

Liked the location and the price.

Cons:

Upon check in to my room, found trash from the previous stay(or god knows how long) scattered all over the room. Bed was not cleaned or made, dirty/wet towels were scattered across the floor. Just made the whole experience unpleasant if you ask me. I tried making a report to get the room changed but nobody at front desk was available! Had to wait until the next day to make the complaint. Called customer support and they are 'Investigating'

This hotel was decent. The location was perfect.
Pros:

It was right on the beach and next to mo’s. Great location.

Cons:

The walls of room were dirty. Parking is not great. They have a lot of spots. But if you have a lower car you will scrap going to higher lot.

We have been coming to Siletz Bay Inn for many years and have always enjoyed it.
Pros:

Room are very comfortable and spacious. Love sitting on balcony to look out at all nature. Beautiful view. Very comfortable room.

Cons:

When we arrived I open fridge to put some cold things in and found chocolate spilled in fridge. Cleaned most but left some in door for staff to see . Pulled chairs out from table and found food crumbs on chairs and under table and some throughout the room.

The view was the only redeeming feature!

Cons:

As soon as we opened our door to our room we were met with a strong marijuana smell, after only a couple minutes in the room we began feeling lightheaded and nauseous. It was very rundown and there were scratches on everything and the room was dirty and grungey. We asked for a room change in hopes it wasn’t the entire hotel but were denied. It was unsleepable and unacceptable for a “non-smoking” hotel. So we asked for a refund and were denied. The front desk was difficult to work with. They even tried to charge us the smoking fee even though we had just checked it. After contacting booking.com about the situation they let us know they would push for a refund, we checked out but we were left with no where to stay that night because of the situation. Even thought the views are pretty do not stay here!

Very sorry that this visit was not better as I like the area.
Pros:

breakfast was OK. The location is good with a nice view. Mo's restaurant is very close and the food there is excellent.

Cons:

There was only one bar of soap for two people for 3 days. No garbage was removed from the room. Bedside light outlet was not functional. I was told upon check out that if I wanted or needed something, I should have only asked. don't you think that I could have been told this on check in? I have stayed at this location before without any complaints. It is a good location, but the staff was not helpful even though we reported the outlet not working the first day. I had to ask for a copy of my final bill/charges.

The balcony view is the best.

Cons:

The bathroom was not clean. At 9:30am nothing was really left for breakfast except waffles and cereal and bagels. No fruit, no yogurt. The one was long for the waffles.

Location is good. Staff was nice but seemed short-handed. Breakfast was nice to have but get there early because by 9:30 am they run out of things.

Cons:

Both of the rooms we stayed in were filthy. Splatter on the walls, tables and nightstands that were old and scratched, one stained bedspread, missing sink plugs, both sofa’s were stained and one had caked food on the front. The owners should inspect every room before it’s released.

Cons:

Both rooms were filthy and the owners need to inspect the rooms because they shouldn’t be this dirty. There’s NO good reason. Stains on bedding, crooked fixtures on wall, missing sink plugs, splatter on wall, filthy couches with caked food on front of one. We used a sheet to sit on!
