The room was nice and comfortable
Check in could have been handled better. 15 minutes before 4 after being on the road over 10 hours. Told room wasn't ready. I get that. Still could have gotten checked in. Instead we left and then had to wait in line again behind 2 others. Which I will say I beleive were also turned away since they seemed too be waiting outside.
Humming noise in the hallway that keep us up all night. Told it was Havac unit that was not checked into When we reported. Nice place and if I could make sure not to be in or around 4304 I would probably stay again.
Pool looked nice too cold to use. Breakfast and serving staff were excellent.
Manager did work with us some after we spoke to the front desk a second time.
Very friendly staff
Pool was dirty all three days
The room was little and stuffy and not very cleanlinens were skimpy
Bathroom was dirty
A very luxurious hotel. A great venue to hold any type of function you would have. Friendly staff, plenty of parking and beautiful surroundings outside.
Everything the bed the room, the grounds the food
That is could not order breakfast on Sunday
Great Hotel. Nice amenities. Great service. Ivenia was friendly and professional.
The location relative to our planned events was great. Plenty of restaurants and shopping, good access to the highway
The room we reserved was not available when we arrived. They offered us a free 'upgrade' to our room. Turned out there was a dog show in town and the hall we were 'upgraded' to was full of show dogs. Barking. A lot. A big bucket by the door of the building for aninal waste baggies. The ice machine on our floor didn't work. The door of our room was hard to open, it was like we were on a wing that hadn't been well maintained. Staff completely ignored complaints at check out.
It was a very family-friendly hotel, with lots to do with kids and a dog park for our furry friend. It's a place that is great for traveling families or having a quick getaway.
The hotel is a little bit outdated, but the room was fine.
Our stay was extremely disappointing and far below what I would expect from a Hilton property.
When we first entered the room, the area had a strong odor that smelled like dog waste mixed with chemicals, as if something had been sprayed to cover it up. About an hour later, I noticed a dead roach on the floor. I went to the front desk, showed them a photo, and asked to switch rooms, but I was told that was not an option. The only solution offered was to send someone to remove the bug, but we had already taken care of it ourselves.
After leaving to get food and returning, we opened the mini fridge and found food left behind from a previous guest. When I went to throw it away, I noticed another bug near the trash can. Since I had already been told we could not switch rooms and that the only option was cleaning, we handled it ourselves.
Later that night, I went to take a shower and found a live centipede in the shower. At this point, we had found three different bugs in the room. I went back to the front desk around 11 p.m. and again asked to switch rooms. The employee apologized and stated that the condition of the room was not up to Hilton standards. However, because it was Memorial Day weekend and other hotel options were significantly more expensive, we felt stuck and decided to try to make it through the night.
That became impossible when we realized the room did not have working air conditioning, and the pull-out couch was extremely uncomfortable, with a thin mattress where the springs could be felt. We did not sleep.
We checked out Saturday and moved to another Hilton property, where we paid more for one night than we had paid for the entire weekend at this location. When we left, we were told a supervisor would need manager approval to fully comp the stay, but that we would at least receive half of our money back. That did not happen. I was later told it was because we refused housekeeping’s offer to come clean the room, even though we had already removed the bugs and the old food ourselves.
The issue was not simply that the room needed to be cleaned. The issue was the overall condition of the room: multiple bugs, old food left in the refrigerator, a strong odor, no working air conditioning, and an unusable pull-out couch. Multiple guests also appeared to have complaints that weekend.
I have photos documenting everything. This was unacceptable, especially for a Hilton property, and I am very disappointed in how the situation was handled.

This hotel has friendly staff. The rooms were very clean and cozy. And the rates were pretty good. The spa deserves its own 5 stars for the welcoming staff and amazing massages. Special shout out to Ms. Ivenia at check out for being so friendly
What a beautiful place! The buildings are gorgeous, with a nice colonial style. The restaurant and room service were both outstanding. Heart was a great shuttle driver to and from Norfolk Airport and Ivenia was a helpful, smiling face at the front desk!
Beautiful venue! Front desk was friendly and helpful. Met this wonderful waitstaff from Kenya while having breakfast! So attentive and friendly.
Loved staying here. What a rich history of Gods faithfulness. Room was really nice and the campus is amazing!
