Lovely room and front view
A wonderful location: friendly, attentive staff: spa facilities. Tasty dinners. Staff changed our room immediately upon reporting dissatisfaction with original allocation.
Buffet breakfast - overcooked, dried out sausage/rasher, "plastic" fried eggs. First room we were given had many small issues, creaky floor, missing bedside light etc. Some areas not as clean as they might have been.
Beautiful, well kept grounds. Peaky blinders feel in the air when walking around the building

Great value for money. Had B&B due to the twilight spa treat which was a birthday gift.
The hotel was clean but a little tired in places
Enjoyed a spa day package with my daughter for her 18th birthday. Fabulous massage, lovely bohemian style area to relax in before & after. The outside infinity pool was lovely & warm in the February cold, was even nicer in the rain!
Loved staying at shrigley with my partner, food in the restaurant was lovely and the spa was just what we needed after a busy week. Staff were lovely at reception
Loved it really beautiful and picturesque, going to the spa tomorrow and really looking forward to that. Had afternoon tea lovely decor and a lovely atmosphere, waitress accommodated our food intolerances.
We booked a dinner, bed and breakfast package for our parents as part of our dad’s 90th birthday celebrations . They had a wonderful time and came back full of praise for the entire experience . They said the room was lovely , the dinner delicious and most of all the staff were fabulous: friendly, attentive and helpful. There were some lovely touches like cakes being left in the room and more given when they left.
So a big thank you to all the people who made it such a special and memorable occasion . We highly recommend this beautiful hotel and hopefully our family will return.

We had a package deal staying at hotel.
The spa needs a bit of tlc, but we'd go back for the same overnight stay deal as it was worth it.
1pm was busy during the time when people were coming and going, and needed extra vigilance in the changing room to pick all towels etc up, as looked messy.
There were some minor points in the changing rooms, shower gel dispensers needed fixing, lock on toilet door missing.
