Warm welcome, noisy challenges
Pros:

Warm welcome and check-in. Thoughtful allocation of room close by disabled parking. Lovely choices at breakfast, hot English breakfast and cold cuts, cereals, fruit, yoghurt, great choice of coffee and tea.

Cons:

It was noisy and unsettling. The A38 provided the loud rush of traffic into the night. Motorbikes revving loudly. Inconsiderate noisy guests walking past the room well into the night. Early morning rumbles of cleaning trolleys and the heavy overhead footsteps of early leavers, made a lie in impossible. Some of this could be eliminated with triple glazing and better fitting doors.

Pros:

Basic facilities providing a comfortable overnight stay and a base for touring. Good bar and catering with excellent breakfast. Enhance by first class staff. We enjoyed the stay.

Excellent apart from minor annoyances.
Pros:

Staff, standard and cleanliness of the room were excellent. The only thing that affected my stay was the close proximity to the main road. But once I fell asleep I slept well. I understand there is nothing you can do about that.

Cons:

Traffic noise
But this didnt affect my sleep. Although neighbours upstairs were making a noise at 2.45am. I fell back to sleep so all good.

Clean functional room would have liked to have had two chairs but very clean and fit for purpose.

Very clean and a really comfortable bed. I felt safe.
Convenient to have an electric car charging point.
