A fine stay.
Pros:

My room was a small suite and served me well. I had space to spare, even after opening 2 large suitcases.

Cons:

The room had an old bath and fixtures. That could use updating. The drapes had no room darkening, and being on the water there were lights outside 24/7.

Pros:

Fantastic location at heart of Venice. Great team of staff - kind, patient, helpful. Comfortable if eccentric room at the top. Very little sound from other rooms to disturb, and location away from the front meant relatively peaceful at night, too.

Cons:

Small window and lack of view from my room.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again.
Pros:

Beautiful old hotel. Great location. Staff were exceptionally helpful from the time we booked until the day we checked out! The restaurant was also exceptional.

Cons:

Room with balcony was large but Room for 3 people was very small & didn’t have a great view.

I don't believe this is 4 star. The air vent in the bathroom was full of dirt when we arrived, and there was a disgusting smell in the bathroom our whole stay. Breakfast is limited & average at best. Not many options for a diabetic. The a/c and heating did not work effectively

Perfect location - so glad I chose this hotel!
Pros:

Having a room overlooking the Grand Canal and the Rialto Bridge was absolutely wonderful, especially as this was my first ever visit to Venice. I hadn't specifically booked a room with a canal view so it was a lovely surprise when I checked in! It was noisy because of all the tourists outside and the comings and goings along the very busy canal, but I came prepared with earplugs so the noise did not affect my sleep.

The room (303) and bathroom were very small and the bed was a bit too hard for my liking, but it wouldn't be fair for me to count this as a negative, because for a single room in such a major tourist city the price was very reasonable (and I know a lot of people prefer hard beds!).

Breakfast was very good and the staff who brought me my coffee every morning were absolutely lovely. The staff at reception were very efficient and professional and willing to answer questions.

The hotel offered a free boat trip to Murano, which included a tour of a glass factory (Rossetto). The transport was one way only, which was fine for me as I wanted to get the boat to Burano afterwards. There was no "catch" to this tour - just a short talk, a very interesting demonstration by some of the master craftsmen, then a look around the showroom, which had some absolutely stunning items on display. I didn't buy anything, which was not a problem as the staff did not do any "hard sell" and seemed happy for tourists to just look around.

The location of the hotel absolutely cannot be beaten and one of the great things about it is that there are several signs in the surrounding maze of streets pointing to "Rialto", which made it much easier for me to find my way back to the hotel in the evenings. There is a waterbus stop just a few metres from the hotel, with regular waterbuses (the "Alilaguna" orange line) to and from the airport. The journey is EUR16 each way.

Cons:

Just a couple of small points for improvement: There was only one (very flat but lumpy) pillow on my bed, and I hadn't noticed this until I was about to get into bed on my first night, so I had to get dressed again so I could go downstairs and speak to reception. The staff on reception then kindly provided me with two much more comfortable pillows.

The WiFi connection wasn't very reliable in my room, but seemed to work better in other parts of the hotel, e.g. the lobby and breakfast area.

Deux petites fenêtres permettant de voir le grand canal et le pont Rialto

Cons:

rapport qualité prix.
Trois nuits pour 1500 euros dans une chambre tout à fait ordinaire dont le seul intérêt était deux petites fenêtres donnant sur le grand canal et le trés beau pont du Rialto.
Salle de bain très basique, décoration réduite a sa plus simple expression.
Le personnel du petit déjeuner extrêment sympathique.
Celui de la réception parfait pour la prochaine fête d'Hallowen

Guter Aufenthalt mit Super Lage

Zentrale Lage nahe beim ÖV. Alles zu Fuss erreichbar. Ruhig. Nettes Personal, reichhaltiges Frühstück.

Cons:

Wir hatten zwei Zimmer. Das folgende trifft nur auf ein Zimmer zu: Viel zu kleine Dusche, kein Wasserkocher mit Kaffee und Tee, lärmige Klimaanlage, welche immer wieder abstellte und nach einer Weile wieder lief wie ein Flugzeugstart.
Im anderen Zimmer hatte es eine grosse Dusche, Wasserkocher mit Kaffee und Tee, die Klimaanlage wurde nicht benutzt.

While the room was lovely very expensive imo. The sink did not drain - though staff was responsive to help. I assume it's a regular issue in Venice.

Cons:

The Wi-Fi was slow and unstable, and there was no business center or complimentary bottled water. Additionally, the breakfast had a very limited selection, with scrambled eggs and croissants being the only warm options.

Regarding accessibility, guests using wheelchairs need to request a step-free room in advance. Although there is an elevator, there are still short flights of steps on each floor due to the age of the building.

Das Deluxe-Apartment hatte den schönsten Ausblick von Venedig - Blick auf den Canal Grande und auf die Rialtobrücke. Sehr hilfsbereites und freundliches Personal. Menschen in Venedig trotz großer Anzahl stets rücksichtsvoll und aufmerksam.

Cons:

Die letzte Etage musste über eine sehr steile Treppe erreicht werden. Man muss einigermaßen körperlich fit sein.
