the room gets cleaned every other day! I had to pay extra in order for it to be cleaned daily!

Very good location and comfortable
Pros:

Excellent location, comfortable beds, nice area to sit in room with couch and TV, lovely to have separate toilet the bath shower area, tea coffee making area, small fridge.

Cons:

Bar is advertised but was not operational. We were a group of 6 friends travelling together and there was no area in the hotel to sit together

Poor air con
Pros:

Great location and lovely room.

Cons:

Lack of controllable air con. The AC is controlled by the hotel centrally. You could adjust the fan and air purifier but room remained stuffy and disturbed sleep.

Welcome was rather stale with long list of additional charges payable for late check out/cleaning. Advised there was building work going on - would normally be told in advance. Hotel bar closed for duration and looked like it had never opened. Just not the Japanese welcome we received everywhere else we stayed

Advised cleaning only infrequent for environmental reasons but you could have your towels changed daily. Made no sense.

We had a wonderful stay at the Yoin hotel, with great service and a very comfortable atmosphere. Takahiko made us feel
Pros:

It was very central to public transport, walking distance to some of the temples and tourist areas

Cons:

The only downside is that the hotel is in an area of night life. People were quite noisy at all hours of the morning, maybe we got the room that faces the street. There is no washing machines on site, so I had to go to another hotel for laundry.

Pros:

Spacious rooms, big bathroom, comfortable beds. Staff was perfect and everything clean.

Cons:

Heat or AC could not be adjusted, windows were not good quality so if you are looking for quiet stay, this area is not the adequate due to parties in the streets surrounding the hotel
