Staff was really nice and helpful, especially the Russian lady.
The room was great. Roomy and good amenities. We liked how they had a washer and dryer and water fill up station.
The location of Yoin Hotel was fabulous, set in a quiet street in Gion, but just a step away from all the action, including the beautiful geishas going about their work in the evenings. Also close to two significant Buddhist temples, a quick walk away. The room was spacious, lovely bathroom.
The option of breakfast would have been a nice extra. The television channels were only in Japanese. But hey we were so busy with the sightseeing it didn't really matter.
Spacious, super comfortable hotel in a fantastic location down a peaceful, quiet street. So spacious, loved having a bath, separate toilet and sofa area. Very comfortable beds and loved the pyjamas. Wonderful, helpful staff. I would definitely stay here again.

The most spacious room, quiet street, close to Gion attractions, comfortable beds, bathroom with a bathtub, Nespresso coffee machine in the room, tea kettle and great tea bag options. Fantastic shampoo/conditioner/body wash. Attentive staff!
