Pros:

Coffee machine was great!

Cons:

Elevator was broken. Had a hip replacement and the stairs hurt my leg.Rooms need a paint job and a upgrade in furniture.

Nice but not great.
Pros:

Location was amazing! Breakfast was pretty good. We liked the outside decor with tiles and havienda style architecture.

Cons:

Bad smells all over this hotel. Unclean murky small pool. Pillows smelt gross. Our phone in our room, rang at 4.17AM for no reason. Our key cards did not work 2 days in a row when we came home from going out for the day. Thin walls and ALOT of steps to climb. No fan or window in the bathroom.

great for young couples wanting to explore San Diego
Pros:

the location was really nice for getting around most of San Diego's main touristy places.

Cons:

the room was for my mother, 85, who had quite a few mobility issues staying there. the hotel is not one building, nor is it on one level. there are a lot of stairs or walking to elevators. for a younger couple or family, this is a really nice place to stay, for older and mobility-challenged, it is less so. the layout was, for her, confusing also. she wasn't able to get to where the included breakfast was, so that was essentially, a wasted perk.

Pros:

The hotel was in a great location in Old Town. It was a couple blocks from the trolly station.

Cons:

We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights. Our room was not cleaned two days in a row. We reported it the first day, and fresh towels were sent to our room that evening minus wash clothes. Dirty towels were not removed. The next day when we returned to our room after a days outing, our room was not cleaned again, and the dirty towels from the night before were still not removed. No coffee, no clean cups, no toilet paper, no water, no fresh linens, no clean bathroom. Again, I called and eventually someone came to clean the room. After talking to the cleaning staff, I found out that our room was not listed as an occupied room to be cleaned. The staff had to manually write it in. They were also three other rooms with the same issue. I also reported that the electric sockets (3) in the bathroom and sink area did not work. Nothing was done. Upon check out, I mentioned the lack of cleaning to the receptionist so it could be reported to the cleaning supervisor. She was incredibly rude and argumentative. No apology, nothing. I left very disappointed in the Hacienda Old Town Best Western.

Will probably not stay here for any future trips to San Diego due to the shuttle service.
Pros:

Both the information in Booking and on the Hotel's website stated that the was a $12.95 per person charge for breakfast. The reality is that we were not charged for breakfast. Pleasant surprise!

Cons:

There was no mention of any eating facilities on the premises other than for breakfast. Even though it is actually separate from the Hotel, it is with in the hotel grounds, and is open for dinner.

In addition to the restaurant facilities not being mentioned, we were very disappointed in the shuttle services. We were in fact picked up at the airport on arrival and taken to the Hotel. Good so far. When we arrived at the Hotel for check in, we made reservation for the next morning for the shuttle to take us to the cruise port. Again, went well. On the next morning. the shuttle left at the time we had reserved, but the shuttle driver complained about being afraid the drive the shuttle in traffic, and said he was going to just drop us off "a couple of blocks" from the ship. In fact, it was several blocks that we had to take all of our luggage to get to the cruise check in, when he could have taken right to the check in like the rest of the shuttle drivers did with their passengers. Really glad we didn't have to pay for that service!!!

I have stayed in multiple hotels, by far Hacienda Hotel has been the best in everything from customer service to the arc
Pros:

Everything meaning customer service was great, access to the facility was excellent, view was stunning, pool and jacuzzi was excellent for the kids. Also, the breakfast was great and great vibes.

Helpful staff, clean and spacious room!
Pros:

It was clean and well maintained, considering the age of the property.
