Pros:

Best thing about this property is the location and setting

Cons:

Most of the front desk staff was nice, not all, roomkeeping staff looked at me like i was crazy when I said good morning, asked for roll of toilet paper because the breakfast made me sick, she said she didn't have any and pushed her cart away, really? Parking garage for each building are very tight but at least there's parking at $25 a night which is excessive. We planned on watching superbowl in our room, power went out a minute before halftime, did not come on til well after midnight., no ice.no internet Couldn't charge phones, that night I asked at least if they could credit parking, nice front desk said of course and mgr was coming in morning and he was gonna figure some things out
When I checked out next morning not so nice front desk says I was comped one night of parking, and they would not compensate anything else. I would never stay there again, the property is very tired. Needs a whole remodel , only thing it has going for it is location

Pros:

The facility is lovely, the staff member that helped us went above and beyond...wish knew his name

Cons:

1st room they put us in, the key didn't work (made had to let us in)...phone was unplugged and the room had a sharp, pungent odor. They gave us another room...cleaner feeling and no odor. But...keys wouldn't work to get us back in the exit gates. Staff member tried many times to get us a key that worked, even bringing one to the restaurant where we were eating!
Now...their website should state not advisable for handicapped or physically limited individuals...difficult and inconvenient access. Also elevator buttons and access not all the same and very confusing.
Everything considered, a very frustrating and hence not an enjoyable stay.

Great place to stay for Cruising
Pros:

Beautiful property. Convenient to Old Town. Helpful staff. Big room. Fancy coffee machine in lobby.

Cons:

Ice machines didn't work in our building and near the lobby. Had to go pretty far to find ice. The property is like a big maze.

Not our first choice, dated, but clean, comfortable enough, located near airport
Pros:

We did not make it to breakfast.

Cons:

Pretty dated, rooms are exterior rooms, anyone can walk up to the property and make their way to rooms and even inside the elevator from outside and without a key. The pull out sofa bed mattress was very old and had stains, however the linens were clean, so we quickly covered it up and that somewhat made up for it. The tub and toilet were clean, but aged. The front door lock has a weak top lock and again, we felt that although this was in a historic area, the furniture, doors, walls were aged and not cared for which made our stay feel dirty. I didn’t even want to shower there.
The parking was first come first serve basis and it was not mentioned on the website that if the parking garage is full, which happened to us, that you had to park in the street and that was a pain because we couldn’t park close enough to even see the hotel.

Poor
Pros:

Free shuttle to airport the morning of my flight. Really good coffee in the lobby. Shuttle driver (at night) was nice.

Cons:

The hotel itself is a Landmark...but it is a real challenge to navigate within its buildings, elevators and/or parking lots. It's a real maze! The rooms are large and fairly quiet (off season) but very dated, furniture are old, beds, decor, carpet, tile, bathroom etc are very old and in need of remodeling. Open access to rooms from outside balcony facing road and parking. I stayed at Creekside Inn in Temecula for $186.00 a night with $25 resort fee the night before in a beautifully new, clean room facing golf course. I paid $156.00 for this room and was totally disappointed. The only good feature was the "free" shuttle (except that I was charge $25 for resort fee), for no "resort" amenities really (pool and jacuzzi) didn't use. The restaurant is decent, again disappointed with the fact that they charge you for everything extra. Ordered fajitas and was charged $4.00 for flour tortillas. Was charge for rice and beans as well separately. When ask to split the check, waitress stated couldn't be done, old system wouldn't allow it. Breakfast is free in the morning, but we decided to skip it.
